right back

last season wilson got slated for trying several players at right back. a lot of people on here complained that he should be playing mccunnie...... well i think the penny has finally dropped as to why he didnt like playing him there.

i believe we NEED a right back as a priority. whether that be a loan or waiting til the transfer window and buying someone.

if we could shore the defense up a bit we could be capable of playoffs easy.

we are scoring goals for fun. we just need to stop letting them in. our attacking ability is as good if not better than the season we got to the playoff final

its just we are much weaker defensively. sorting that out is the key. a gk and a full back will do that.

He started off brightly at right back last season. Mad John on here then pointed out his positioning and I kept an eye on it and it is a major weakness. Hopefully it's something he'll improve on.

I think at the start of last season he'd played at damn site better than he is now, if he had started his career at Pools like he's playing now I don't think anyone would want him at right back! Right back to Scotland maybe :wink:
