You can't take that attitude Mr I.

Three times we've played Leeds and three times we've nearly beaten them but lost - why ? - because they've managed to score late goals and it's been the same for more or less all the teams Leeds have played.

To take the lead at Elland Road in TWO mins was fantastic.
But to the take the lead again was sensational.

You got to take that into account - I'm proud of the way the lads played tonight, but I'm absolutely appallled at the late goal beacuse they really derved to do better - at least take the game into ET.

Mr Kent,

We were playing Leeds United. A team at the same level as us who played only half of their first team. We scored early and then again and yet again failed to hold on to the lead. Our defence is a liability, to win a game we have to score four goals. Bet we don't score four against Leicester on Saturday.

These are the same fundemental mistakes we were making last season and yet we still pick the same players who fail time and time again. There was no luck involved, we do not have any decent full backs.

Well we don't know about Leicester, but can't we put this into perspective after the fantastic West Brom result - think we've been diabolically unlucky to be honest.

It is not sensational when you get beat! Who gives a damn about us taking the lead twice. The fact is that we bottled it after taking the lead twice!

Look it's hurting you as much as it is me at the moment but it's been a fantstic cup run and I choose to be philosophical at this moment - we beat a PREMIERSHIP side (regardless what other people think) and nearly came cl;ose to knocking out another former big club - that's a good run in my opinion, further then we've travelled in this competition for some time.

Did you go?

No?

Thought not.

Ever thought about addressing what happened as opposed to clichéd assumptions and ridiculous romanticism?

kent how many of these games you are lecturing people about have you actually been to ??????

what are you basing your opinions on ?

any idiot can see our defence isnt up to the job.

last clean sheet in the league was about 6 months ago.

everyone scores against us, and whenever we come up against anyone decent they get 2 or 3. usually as a result of basic errors.

Eleven games, one clean sheet. In the cup. At home. Against Scunny.

Couldn't agree more. I still can't guess where most of the talent has gone, but I hope to god that Collins isn't getting affected in the same way as Nelse.

You get no reward for 'nearly' .....and that's what the games about at the end of the day.

You mean a talented defender until DW and his coaching staff get their hands on him? Hmmmm....

Humps was definetly NOT MOM on Saturday but I thought he played quite well last night!!!! confised

McCunnie looked like a scared Schoolboy and Nelson was constantly covering for him when he was getting pulled out of position or when their winger was strolling past him!!!! confised

I was one of them last season who couldn't believe Wilsoon was using Sweeney there instead of McCunnie....but now I realise Wilsoon knows a lot more than me about Football!!!! confised

I'd say swap him and Sweeney round.... :uhoh: ....or drop McCunnie and put Rowell in the middle and Sweens at Right-Back!!!! :uhoh: bbolt

Leeds had a shed load of one on one chances, without the three they actually did score. We could easily have conceded eight. The defence is sh-i-t

The problem with the defence is that they were cutting us to ribbons. They were allowed to run through us with ease. In the last two matches when we've had the ball in defence we've given it away cheaply. Collins did that for Leeds' first.

I don't think Collins and Nelson are bad players indivually but perhaps the balance is wrong. They are quite similar in many ways and have similar strengths and weaknesses. Perhaps, just maybe, Ben Clark can be the missing link.
