If one day the other countries in Europe suddenly decided to take golf seriously and had as many active players as the UK, such that they made up the whole of the Ryder Cup team, would you honestly still be just as interested?

We've made a good start. We've gone 1 up in one of the matches.

I'm a bit disappointed in the media for showing Faldo's "list" of pairings. They could have kept it secret.

This is probably in the only time we are likely to call ourselves Europeans and come under the one common flag of Europe and it's in a sporting event to make sure we beat the Americans !

Don't bring North and South into this, we're all Poolies on here you know, besides you're going off subject.

People are probably OK calling themselves geographical Europeans, but struggle with them being political Europeans.

I believe that continentally-defined teams have a special term for when they're playing at home. The correct expression is to say that the US Americans are in continent.

To be honest I'd rather sew my foreskin to my eyelid, throw pepper in my eye and toss myself to death through the resultant fluttering than watch some over inflated Americans try and cheat their way to winning a trophy that anyone on that course could make out of the loose cash down the back of their third homes settee.

If we want to beat the Americans by being European, lets invade their country and f ook 'em right up by closing down House of Pancakes, MacDonalds and Pepsi Cola. They'd starve in 20 minutes. clappp clappp

Crazy golf= top notch fun...GOLF = pretencious , vulgar, lower middle class aspiationinoal attempt of a 'sport' by those who wish the world to think they've achieved something in life...a guffawing sneering past-time that suspends the players sense of dress and appeals to pushy social climbers of the world....... if it's a sport' so's darts and snooker..... it's a business contact past-time as Mark Twain said...'a good walk ruined'. As for watching it.... I'D RATHER WATCH CEMENT SET.
