i thought everyone was excellent tonight... especially Sweeney and Mccunie down the right side... this should be a permanent thing IMO.
Cheltenham were awful defensively mind.

I am in total shock. Jonny praising Sweeney, sure this is a sign that the world is about to end soon.

Sweeney was awesome tonight. I've always defended Sweeney and he the more he learns how to play on the right hand side the better he'll become.

I said Sweeney was man of the match tonight and people pulled faces!!

He was our bet player by a distant on the night, I'm glad someone shares my view!

Mr Gaunt - I have praised Antony Sweeney on numerous occasions, in fact the only time I tend to slate him is when he plays in the centre of midfield where he happens to be crap and invisible usually. Thankfully the management at Pools eventually realised that he isn't good enough to play there even if the penny hasn't dropped for many people who post on these message boards...

He played well tonight and has had a very good start to the season - hopefully he will continue to work hard and improve.....

sweeney was all over
porter ran his little legs off

Who got the sponsors man of the match, I thought that it should have went to Porter, how he didn't get a penalty I will never know maybe if we weren't well in the clear we might have got it
