I have a copy of Nero 8 on my laptop which I am trying to delete, whenever I go to the Programs and Features page and click on it to uninstall I get this message 'Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove existing version of this product, use Add/Remove programs on the control panel.'

But I am trying to uninstall it not install it

Go in through Control Panel, Add or Remove Programmes and delete it from there?

When I look in the control panel settings there is no add/remove program option

It's listed as 'Programs And Features' not Add/Remove. Hope that helps.

Ah, I'm on XP, do I assume that you are on Vista??

Vista it is, still no joy with the attempted uninstalling as well confised

This is a special tool to remove nero 8 from Vista and I think it will do th trick.
