Who suggested they were fighting a war?????
I watched the whole show and was proud to see those lads acquit themselves brilliantly. They did the town and the team proud.
Well done again boys.

I didnt realise sitting on a wooden bench equates to doing the town proud?

The whole show has gone rapidly downhill, the old same tired gags week after week.

Saturday was the first time I have ever watched it right through and I have to say it will probably be the last. I thought it was very amateurish with little or no content, apart from our lads who I thought acquitted themselves well. Sad about the 'shoot out' result but nobody got hurt.
On reflection I think the length of the show contributes to its mediocrity. I won't be breaking my neck to watch it again. sadx

I was watching through my fingers and cringing at the one word replies.

Its just my opinion and it doesn't matter in the big scheme of things. It made you cringe and I thought they did well. It depends I suppose on what you are looking for. I would certainly agree that they weren't comedians, but I wasn't looking for that. I think cringeworthy is a bit strong but each to his own.

What is this thing you talk about? Is that the show where a lass once went on without her knickers?

I have to agree with Salty. It wasnt great. Compare them to when the pools fans were on a few years ago. Even the song they sung was embarrassing. Surely any poolie would have sung two little boys?
