I think that's a bit harsh calling him smug. Now if you'd used that adjective to describe Audrey Harrison . . .

That's the funniest fucking thing I've seen all day.

Should've stayed in the Ol-ympic team, he was well out of his depth to go up against Prescott

EDIT: why the fuck is the word Ol-ympic (without the dash) banned? Granted, Kent this and that, but that's a bit fucking silly

But if you look at Prescott's record, Khan should never have been in the fight

What, so when he got back up punch-drunk, he wasn't blatantly kidding himself?

And just because it's happened to great boxers doesn't mean it's not poor. It's his own fault - I took in some nice money from those punches

Prescott's record is off the chain, he was always going to go in two or less

£2 on 33/1 to win in the first two rolfl

William Hill are fantastic. Khan was odds on, it's like they didn't even look at their records rolfl rolfl rolfl

(I was a bit gutted, odds were more than double that for Prescott to get a KO in the first)

fair play if you had money on khan to get beat, you clearly got great value, but to suggest it was a mis-match and khan was out of his depth is just plain dumb.

Well I'm the one profiting from his inability, so either way I win.

I'm not saying he won't develop professionally - many great boxers need a KO or two to give them a reality check (hello, Hatton) - but he WAS out of his depth there. He may not be in future, but I never talked about that.

So yeah, I'm still right.

Because Khan is a cock.

Lennox was a great guy, Hatton is down to earth. Khan, however, is a prick.

And the extra wonga for seeing him getting his glass jaw smashed twice was all the sweeter

Does it really matter??

I mean, is the one-upmanship the entire 'raison d'etre' for posting on here?? Are we not all intelligent if somewhat flawed beings??

You might have a personal message that proves the Kennedy theory but if we decide to wipe the lot and start again is that a big hole in your life?? Because it is eminently possible. We just have to weigh it all up. If we feel the need. You will no doubt wax lyrical on the us and them. It may also indicate that these discussions are already underway. You decide. We don't have to. thrilled

Or can we all grow up a bit??

Spot on...and it's about time it was recognised who is starting all this rubbish. People can pick on me as much as they like but as soon as I or any of the other undesirables decide to retaliate we are all subjected to a lecture.
I don't want to insult anybody nor is it my intention to do so but I'll be damned if I'm going to let the same two or three constantly attack me.
That is all. banghead

you first entry on this thread mr tickhill was to have a pop at me once again. up until that point it was a boxing thread and you hadnt been mentioned.

you seem to be following me wherever i go on the board, as you have done with others on here, and exactly as superwatty did on rivals.

if you want to have a debate on the relative merits of amir khan then thats all well and good. if you just want to make dumb personal attacks carry on.

The first attack was by you my friend on the thread referring to a great day out and I retaliated( silly I know) but I've had enough of it. Until I am satisfied that you have stopped your vendetta against me I will continue retaliating. That was the excuse you used the other day and I am following your example.
I'll make you a proposition. Stop being personal with me and I won't retaliate. In fact , if you are a moderator on this site, you should be showing an example. Anybody who has a different opinion to you immediately gets attacked................that would make you a candidate for watty. Now give over or I'll have to take your trousers down and smack your arse.

Right well, here's the reality, it's finished. there is to be no more. There are no undesireables, as long as they make a point of not being one, for all the reasons that make people undesireables. There is no party line but Mr I went to many pains to post, for the first time in three years a set of, let's call them, guidelines, when all this utter dross kicked off. It was in fact regrettable that he felt the need to do that. We had sunk to the level of many other football forums on the internet. We were better than, and different to that, now we aren't. He didn't instigate it, others did.

Either respect the place or don't. If you don't we'll respect it for you. Take from that what you will, and let's call this an end to it OK??

That's ok by me Mr Spender. I do respect the bunker and everyone on it. However I will not be abused or called names by anyone.
I am not alone in this respect as I have proved today. Other people don't like it either as has been proved today by Mr Fireball. He doesn't like it as his retaliatory remarks have shown. Now I am trying very hard not to be cynical here and suggest one rule for one and another rule for another but we are getting mighty close to that. I have not swore at anybody. All I have done is use the same terms and insults that Chip Fireball uses on a daily basis. The difference is that he appears to be allowed to get away with it. Is there any particular reason why?
If you are threatening me with expulsion then that is your prerogative, but your fellow moderator has already suggested that I and one other should find a room preferably without the internet. If he is respecting the bunker and it's members then my interpretation of respect differs from yours and his.
I know a lot of people have decided I am superwatty and treat me accordingly but there are quite a few people on here who actually know me personally and laugh at that idea, as I do. For that reason my posts get treat differently. I know that and so do you.
If you don't want me to defend myself, or if you are saying I can't defend myself, then you had better ban me, because I have always defended myself and I am not going to stop now. I have no intentions of remaining where I am not wanted.
I must tell you that I have received information within the last half hour that states that this situation was deliberately set up in order to get me removed from the bunker. I can't really believe that fellow Poolies would do that, do you??

Enough.
