Given the speculation about James Brown, do you reckon we should sell him? If so, how much?

He should stay, in my opinion. He'd be worth more with us in the Championship, but I hate a culture in this country where as soon as a talented footballer seems to blossom, that we instantly have to look at how much we're going to flog him for.

Honestly, I do hate capitalism some times.

It's like a cattle market sometimes as well.

£1.5m for me, yes he's quality and yes he could really help to push us forward but we can't afford to turn down that kind of cash.

Selling JB will weaken the squad unless DW is given an appropriate amount to get it back to strength. That is the big question which I would like answering.
At least £1.5m.

He'll be staying based upon his last 2 away game performances

What, you mean the same system that has us in debt and the sale of such a player could really do wonders for the club?

Not for sale.

He has just signed a fresh contract so he's obviously happy, were also happy so why sell him?

Id much rather watch our better players every week rather than sell them on and Wilson not get any money for a decent replacment.

Just cos he's signed a new contract doesn't mean that he isn't for sale at the right price.

The contract is more about both parties protecting their own interests. Pools get to tie Browny to a longer deal thus stopping him being poached on a Bosman and Browny gets £2.4k a week basic plus bonuses while he is still here.

As that's not in CAPITALS, it can't be fact.

Have you been listening to that bloke in the pub again?
