ALB-6.5. Did ok.
Sweeney-5.5. Constantly wasting the ball.
Humps-6.5. Ok.
Collins-8. Man mountain.
Nelson-7.5. Played well.
Jones-1. 0.5 for a very good shot which was well saved and 0.5 for actually having some ability to put his clothes on. If Wilson wants someone to stand there and give the ball away all fucking game then il do it for a lot cheaper.
Monkhouse-8. Orchestrated the play.
Liddle-7. Best game of season.
Power-7.5. Impressive passing and created a fair bit.
Porter-7. Held it up well but things werent quite wokring for him.
Brown-7.5. As good as usual.

Wilson-4. Barker on for Monkhouse? Give me fucking strength. Porter was dead on his legs for fucks sake.

Monkhouse is the most frustrating player ever to wear the shirt. The first sub this week and last week should have been Robson for Monkhouse.

Humps-6.5. Ok.

Ok?.....Ok? He was at fault for their goal. He stood and watched as Nelson went down after trying to tackle their player. He can't tackle for toffee and as i said....stood and watched their player stroke it into the net instead of tackling. If he'd got a foot in, they wouldn't have scored rage rage rage

Gotta agree with this, Humps was poor IMO and was a weak link again along with Jones.

Tree, how did you give Liddle a 7??? He was poor yet again. He would only get a 5 from me

A player who has almost everything in his locker...unfortunately when he enters the fray he leaves it in his locker. If he could reach his potentiel he would be a championship player....he cant therefore he plays his footy in L1 yawn1

Constantly made space, controlled the ball, carried it, gave it to our players, held it up and created chances.

I think you were a tad harsh like - he deserved a 2 but certainly no more than that......

We only have ourselves to blame - we didn't do enough in the 2nd half to stretch the game. And about 4 or 5 of our players stood off theirs during the build up to the goal...

Their keeper played well mind.......

Can't really argue with much of that Tree.

When they got 11 men behind the ball the middle of the pitch was jam packed yet very, very rarely we would try to go wide and around them.

Why, once Foley came on did Wilson try to play him in the hole behind the front two, he should have kept him out wide and told him to have a run at the tiring full back, this just left Sweeney even more exposed than he was when Jones was on the pitch

this Jones lad needs taking to one side. He accepted the contract but now he doesn't want to know by the look of him. Either he's a man or he should fuck off.

Wilson should be seeing such tactical errors but he doesnt. Like I say, this poor management wont improve, Wilson has been around the block a bit and isnt suddenly going to have a 'eureka' moment. Players at this level are not talented enough to play out of position, Wilson cant see this.

ALB-7- made a few decent saves
Sweeney-6- Gave ball away too easy
Collins-7.5-Solid
Nelson- 7.5- Good game and won plenty of tackles
Humps-6 Average
Jones -3- Dunno what Wilson sees in him
Liddle -5- Non-existant 2nd half and want great 1st
Boland -6- played well until going off injured
Monkhouse-5- Never ran at the full back and gave ball away too easy
Porter-6- Nothing better than average but at least he tried
Brown-6.5- Had a few glimpses of magic but they were rare, struggled to get going

SUBS 5

Should of won and had the chances to do so but ther keeper kept them in it with some awesome saves but if you dont take your chances you wont win games, another prime example

Can i just say Power might as well not of played, he tread water for the full game and was a big let down for me. Needs to put more graft in. Looks a tad on the chunky side and is not a div.1 player on that performance.

Browno was a joy to watch, i dont think he got the ball took off him all day.

Overall good footbal from Pools, but with no end product.
