Has now become a complete and utter joke.

Story on back page is about Power and Jones.

With a bit at bottom saying Full Story page 55.

The paper consists of 36 (yes 36) pages so you think simple mistake put page 55 instead of page 35.

But no the story is on page 32.

who the F*** proof reads anything that this rag prints.

I used to joke it didnt get the date right, it wont be long before they actually get that wrong as well.

Its amazing how many times they get that wrong - I'd say at least 6 times out of 10 the page number is incorrect!

You're talking about the Mail. You have to say "at least 12 times out of 10 ..."

It has become more of a joke since it was moved to Sunderland and like other's I dont want read news involving the colleries.

Why cant it come back to Hartlepool and go back to 2 editions. The county,(early edition) and the Town final, if you bought the early edition you expected colliery news.

And feel free to have a look on the front page of any edition.
It reads on it.....

PUBLISHED IN HARTLEPOOL SINCE 1871

AND NOT PUBLISHED IN HARTLEPOOL SINCE 1871 AND MOVED TO SUNDERLAND IN 2006

Your punctuation isn't too hot my man, don't you normally end sentences with a full stop?

Is there such a thing as a proof reader now, I would imagine they let Word or whatever package they use do the spell checking. Not the same as proofing granted, hence the numerous errors.

You're lucky you still get an Evening local paper in Hartlepool, Mr Tree, down in Medway hardly anything happens at all so the Kent Messenger Group decided just to have one "Monday to Thursday" Paper printed on Monday and then a "Weekend" paper printed on Friday. You have to wait for the weekend paper for a report of a Midweek Gills game !

Cornelius, do you work for the Hartlepool Mail by any chance? Its just that you always seem to get a bit irritated when people slag it off?
