At least at the end of last season, it wasn't perfect, but we had TFM giving the fans of Pools and Darlo a voice on the radio...now it's gone, we have just Radio Tees... they say they give the best coverage to Pools home and away, which is theoretically true, but compared to what? They are now totally Borer and the ultimate icon of despair is the appointment of Alistair Brownlee as mouthpiece ..a man who could change a conversation with the chief of the worlds remotest tribe in the Amazon Rain Forest to the chances of the Boro this season . I vainly tuned in on Saturday tea time in the car to hear the said man wittering away in his nasal drone and reluctantly he had to give the Wearside league scores which he started to do then dementedly announced the Borers score as the first result.... 'for those who diidn't know' ..... at this point I retuned my digital car radio so I don't have to ever hear that voice again.
Radio Tees ....... Radio Smug.... a station in the chair lift category of broadcasting, endless inane chat shows where Geoff in Nuthorpe and Sue in Marton phone in to drone on and on and on about their garden, or their holiday or their bloody offsprings achievements and how they love the Boro, the tesside mantra....as the chatter fades to yet another play of Baker Street or anything by the Eagles as Geoff hums along, he worked at ICI y'know and now he's taking a Open University Degree in being a twat..........

Cheers for the warning snowy. I won't be listening to that radio station while Brownlee has anything to do with it.
Sadly it gets worse..........after Century lost the coverage rights to BBC Radio Borer and with it his job on the radio, Bronwlee returned from where he had originated and now he's also on every weekday night from 6 till 8 and it'll be totally boro...as he said....the borers are the heartbeat of this area ... pull the fooking plug nurse!

It can't... and the so called public broadcaster shares match reports on Pools and Darlo on digital only... so the people with access to the most common form of radio can't receive it, unless you buy a new radio..... Of course there's always the away matches ...... providing the borers aren't playing of course.

As I couldn't make it to Tranmere on Saturday, and not having DAB, I listened (for as long as I could stand it) to radio borer to catch the Pools updates.
Alistair Brownarse and that other dibbo Gary Gill were discussing a transfer which cost 16.4 million and couldn't understand why there was a .4 on the end. They thought it would have been simpler to round it either up or down.

Maybe we should petition uefa and demand that all transfers between European clubs be carried out in pounds sterling and not euros or any other foreign currency.
This would make transfer figures so much easier for our local "experts" to understand and save us a little bit more endless droning on.

They could even use the time saved to give Pools a bit more coverage.............Nah.......probably not.
