Report one Sunday Paper and are willing to offer £500k. Probabaly a load of bollocks and surely no way would we accept that sum anyway.

If nicky maynard was worth 2.25million from Crewe Brown must be worth the same if. Not more!

Not to a Scottish club he wouldn't be. They don't pay the same crazy transfer fees as English clubs.

Maynard's record is pretty damn impressive played 54 league games for Crewe and scored 33 times.

Brown has played 62 league games for Pools and scored 18 times.

Okay we all know he's been playing on the wing, but even if he had of been up front I think he'd of struggled to equal Maynard's impressive record.

I'd be disappointed if we listen to anything less than £1m though.

I don't think pools would entertain anything less than a million for him.

At this moment i don't really think Brown would be looking to leave, ok celtic is a massive club, but whats his chances of actually playing for them in the next 2-3 years?

He's better off learning his trade here then moving on.

But it wouldn't be up to Brown, would it

Hopefully he is on a long enough contract to make sure we get a decent price for him

My post was in reponse to the statement....

"He's better off learning his trade here then moving on."

If a fee was agreed he'd go. Endof.
