Are we demanding the managers head before the season started because he gave Matty Robson a run out in a friendly ?

I was disappointed with the way last season fizzled out,but kinda thought that I would leave it in the past & enjoy this season on its own merits.
Sorry if Im being a bit thick but I tend to chill out & forget about footy for a few weeks during close season so am not as up to date as some.

We all know Monkhouse is a better player, but it's a while since he showed it. The second half of last season he just went through the motions.

I know I might get harpooned from certain people but it's the truth he didn't have many good games and his body language in the main was poor.

In a few weeks time we will know who is playing & who isnt,we'll also know wether we are looking any good or not,until then its just pointless speculation.

Certainly didn't help himself by being banned for the first 4 games of the season, having knee surgery & apparently throwing a hissy-fit about his selection.

But that is likely to happen with the same people in charge.

As for seeing Monkhouse laughing as he was driving out of the ground, do you really think he was laughing because we got beat? Howay chip

I've spoke to the lad meself more than once and he loves Pools, the town and the fans, I think your way off the mark there like.

You obviously weren't at Wallsall for the last game of the season when he delivered the pass for the 94th minute equalizer.

If he loves the club, town and the fans then he should play to the best of his ability regardless of a spat with his manager or not.

1. I am more than happy to listen to your opinion but when you do little other than consider the worst case scenario then it's no wonder I think you're fooking depressing.

2. Some of the things you say are right but how can I tell you your prediction is right until it has happened?

3. Where have I name called? I think you have dreamt that when you were dreaming about flowers and fluffy bunnies.

But here's a clue. We have been reliably informed in the past two years that players of the calibre of Mickey Nelson, Joel Porter, James Brown, Ben Clark and Dimi K were leaving the club which was a disaster, Conference here we come, I'm never going again, drip, drip, drip.... That was 20% correct. We have high opinions of three more players, Andy Monkhouse, Gary Liddle and Sam Collins. There are mixed opinions on Ritchie Humphreys, Tony Sweeney, Jamie McCunnie and Richie Barker. Few people like Foley or Robson. No-one likes the goalkeepers. We dunno about the two new lads Power and Jones.

However we do seem to have seven quality players, three more very competent ones and only real doubts about two positions.

So that's why.

How can I counter your argument when it's just a prediction? I can't exactly tell you your prediction is wrong (though most inevitably are), I was just stating that you are one depressing person.

I don't do think Pools are going to do well this season but I don't think we'll do badly either. I am far from reluctant to admit that on here, just because I don't want to drain the life out of everyone by repeating it 2000 times per week doesn't mean that I don't believe it.

I don't see all your posts as negative but the majority are, sometimes you make some good points but it's been a while. Tree's assessment of Saturday's game has nothing to do with me.
