Steady game so far, excellent one handed save by Lee-Barrett by all accounts during the first half.

And just as I pressed post to the last one James Brown scored the first goal of our new season to put us 1-0 up, took a little deflection but made its way in.

And the first mistake of the new season goes to Sam Collins who let the ball bounce underneath him allowing Greenock Morton to equalise.

Pools 1 - 1 Greenock Morton

2-1 Sweeney

No appearance for Liddle or for Humphs even though they were both inititally selected to play the second half.

He's a better left winger than he is full back.

At 35 surely Matty Robson should have realised that potential by now.

Ever heard of training? of course you haven't.

He played him at left back for the full game last night so its obviously in his mind.

By the way, overuse of emoticons doesn't do anything for your argument.

As usual you don't read the original post properly you just assume what is being said.

I said "Wonder if Matty is Wilsons chosen left back."

My opinion was not mentioned I simply commented on the selection last night. Now show me where I mentioned Humphreys or said that I preferred Matty Robson in that position.

Robson was notably absent from that area of the field when they broke through for their goal. You can't put all the blame on Collins as he was outnumbered.
