I know everyone is probably sick of me being negative but Im not too keen. We has a strip like a that a few years back didnt we? ie plain white (a 'super league' effort I beleive)

It does not look particularly classy nor is it memorable.

Another poor choice by the club imo.

FFS rage rage rage rage rage

That kit was an away kit, not a home kit. we used the white kit about 4 times if i remember correctly!

It is very very smart and probably win the award for best kit again!
Nike have done a good job on it.

Calm down ffs.

We might have only wore it 4 times and it might have only been an away kit but the fact is, it is very similar to a recent stirp and it is not too memorable. When you think of the Maroon Arsenal strip of a few years back, it sticks in the memory and a lot of people wear it. This white strip is dull as f*** and looks worse than the usual blue and white stripes.

Oh , and the badge is still sh*te. Bring back the Garry Gibson effort!

i think you would have complained no matter what it looks like?

arsenals only sticks in the memory cos it was maroon, was still a boring shirt really.

I like this shirt, looks smart and classy.

I like it, personally probably won't buy one like, I think all football shirts are a very expensive item of clothing.

On another topic, RB looks to have lost some beef, looks like a lean mean goal scoring machine clappp

I've heard a rumour he's not going to take the penalties this season.

He doesn't see the point seeing as they don't count towards your end of season total sctatchinghead

Notice the new sponsor on the back?

GPS (Global Process Systems).

Attached to the oil & gas industry so it ties up with Larsen, Dove etc...

I'm quite proud to be backed by IOR and the umbrella companies that they have such clout with. Good for both ends.

Devils Advocate...

So you'd be ambarrassed to win the League 1 title this year if we led the penalties tally come May??

They all count...you've still got to put them in the old onion bag...

Just seen the new kit, I like it.

The badge is a nice touch too.

Fail to see how anybody can realistically whine about it either.

Cheap and tacky. What a disapointment.

Any reason we choce the 2 most overweight players to "model" it?

That helm crest is beginning to look like a liabilty.

Even on the shirt, our crest has never looked like the ones printed in the programme or on my official pennant.

Now I believe this is what our offcial crest looks like below.

Might need redesigning somehow.

Our crest looks like Rochdale's during their centenary year - is it because they wear Nike kits as well.

I'm impressed with the sleekness of the strip - sometimes lost with a shirt that has blue and white stripes.

I like that we're going back to our roots, back to the first ever strip.

What we want is for the crest to go on a white shiled patch that looks like the one on my pennant and stitch that on without a seam.

Classy effort though.

I like the new kit, Just amazes me how long we've had to wait for a White Shirt

Also is there anything to be read into Richie Barker having the Number 10 Shirt on? He was Number 9 last year and Joel was 10

Could just be that he's modelling the 2 shirts they've got of course

That second badge is stunning. There is no way that Pools would ever achieve that standard though as they would no doubt ask some half blind schoolkid to design it rather than pay a proper designer. You have to remember that we are talking about the club who get a bunch of chavs to paint the admission prices above the gates freehand without even using a stencil or painting the footballers on the cyril knowles stand using the largets possible brushes thus meaning that half the wall ends up covered with paint.

I think the new QPR badge is a bit ironic - most new badges now do away with ornate stylings and they have in part, except they put loads off leafy shite round the outside. The QPR lettering was the most famous thing about them after Les Ferdinand.

I'm not sure about the new strip. I thought the badge looked a bit cheap on the strip but it's actually pretty well presented - a bit too white for my liking though

Some clubs improve their badge, like QPR. Others however manage the complete opposite.

From the person who was moaning 24 hours ago that the strip should have been available to buy at the end of last season rolfl

You're becoming a parody of yourself, just noise!!

You make Mr Grave look like a fully paid up member of 'optimists' from last season. I apologise I can't remember the two posters names, but you know who I mean the two blokes who were positive and behind the club/Danny Wilson to an extent that I started to question that they were watching those dull Pools matches towards the back end of the season through a glue bag

BLAND, BLAND, BLAND.....a shirt that is neutral and serves no other purpose than to accentuate the sponsors logo...Pools are blue and white..it's the shirt that makes the statement of what you are, the shorts and socks are mere accessories. That shirt is like any club, anywhere, any pub , any town...I thought we'd learnt that much from the similar shirt in the 2003-4 season, but at least that had thin blue lines......NAH...it's not Pools.
