Cool. Now we're only a couple of midfielders short of a good team.

Let us also remember that Danny Wilson does not rate Ben Clark too much and he doesnt select him very often!

Seems to me to be an excellent signing as indeed does this young lad Power. People in Nottingham seem to rate the lad - Power that is.

I still expect Wilson to make a couple of defensive signings and I hope, a goalkeeper. If he does I think we might do ok.

His pedigree is outstanding he was obviously well thought of by Man Utd at one stage (only a couple of years ago) he was recalled from a loan spell at feeder club Royal Antwerp because of injuries in Man Yoo's first team.

I wouldn't be put off by a few comments by Yeovil fans after a loan spell, remember how people didn't rate Neil Danns when he was on loan here? Since he has signed for Birmingham City and Crystal Palace for combined fees of over £1,000,000 after starring in Colchester's promotion to the Championship.

Maybe Ben Clark will play Left back, hes played there before.

I don't think he has the pace to play full back. He should be competing for a centre back starting pace with Nelson and Collins. Three good centre backs fighting for two spots can only be a healthy position to be in.

Nelson has no pace, I'd sooner have Clark at full back than RH. Clarks a natural defender.

You do realise what this means don't you?

Power and Jones into midfield, up front is a mix of Porter / Brown / Barker / Foley
Clark / new signing into left back.

Where does that leave the player of the century [sic]?

Possibly starting on the bench or competing for a place in his best position (midfield). I think Liddle will play left back.

I honestly think his days are numbered as long as DW is in charge. He's got lots of younger midfielders and he'll recognise that left back was one of our real problem areas last season so he should have a plan for that position.

Humphreys is gash in midfield. Best position is easily left back and I hope he stays there.

Wilson has hinted loads that Power wont be starting at first.

I'd say the opposite. He's a complete liability at left back when up against anyone with more pace than Stephen Hawking. As a midfielder he's adequate.

Jones might turn out to be a great signing..........but how dare any of you suggest, NOW, that he will, or should be in the team before Liddle, Sweeney, Humphreys etc.

He is 22....and has played 10? 1st team games?

I reckon that makes him alarmingly inexperienced.

Yet already he has replaced good players at pools.....according to you fookin thick bounders. rolfl rolfl rolfl

If he proves himself in the friendlies to be better than them then great.........until then..... stpid stpid

Your forgetting he was with Man U therefore..........

Make your mind up. Are you now happy with the performances last season? because the players that you seem to want to retain automatic selection are the ones who weren't good enough - except in the pre-match interviews of course.

How many 1st team games had Liddle played when he walked straight into the team? wasn't he alarmingly inexperienced?

I for one think the Jones signing will turn out to be a good one. I now think our midfield is complete and we now NEED a Goal Keeper, a Full back (preferably right back) and a striker (preferably one with real pace)
