Hi lads as you have no doubt worked out from name that I support our other local team. I am a Boro season ticket holder and travel to quite a few away games. I still get to watch pools a couple of times a season and they have always been the second team I look for when its the results time.

I have read this board for a few months now and I thought since things have gone quiet for pools (no signings, no money?) I would add a small contribution to your board.

One of the main reasons I'm here is to try and find out why some posters on here are so antagonistic and extremely insulting about the Boro. I hope they are not narrow mined and when I was a youngster I also thought Hartlepool ended at Throston Bridge. People now must realise we are developing as a Teesside area and on Teesside we have two local teams. It seems ridiculous that we cant find any common ground and respect for each other.

I believe in an ideal world we would have one Teesside team that everybody could get behind. This Teesside area team could then concentrate on challenging the very best in the Premiership. I know one day this will happen its inevitable. Until then why cant we just get behind each other and cheer both our teams on

possibly because of the short memory of many smoggies who forget that without our kindness in 1986 mfc would no longer be in the league. and are extremely patronising towards little hartlepool
I hope they are not narrow mined and when I was a youngster I also thought Hartlepool ended at Throston Bridge.

surely being so close that is even more reason to divide us
that and the smoggies seeming affinity to the loids

I believe in an ideal world we would have one Teesside team that everybody could get behind.
now that is a wind up. when cleveland county existed it raped and pillaged hartlepool to give to middlesbrough and because of this we will never be a part of teesside/tees valley/any other name with tees in it.
This Teesside area team(or middlesborough fc as it may as well be called ) could then concentrate on challenging the very best in the Premiership. I know one day this will happen its inevitable. Until then why cant we just get behind each other and cheer both our teams on
we do that now we cheer pools and whoever is playing borer

hope that answers your questions HEADLAND SMOGGIE rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl

Hahaha, if we didn't bail Boro out in 86, there WOULD be one Teesside team. Actually, there'd be none, as I will always fully maintain that we aren't Teessiders...

Wind up central. Either that or the Headland Smoggie really does add fuel to the burning flames of hatred towards the Borer

TO55ER Get a grip you pillock, why would any self respecting pools fan get behind the borer, comments like that boil my piss.

the only time i would get behind the borer (or any other of the so called big 3) is if the team coach was hanging over a cliff, i'd be the one administering the final push.

rant over.

A reasonable remark being that you would rather see one club than two in the area? What gives you the right to fundamentally hope for the dissolution of another local team? It's bound not to be Borer after all, especially with the "no money" comment...

I still can't help but think this is a monumental wind up - a Boro fan in Hartlepool is bad enough, but one who thinks we would ultimately follow Boro if Hartlepool disappeared into a fine mist... must be fucking joking!

Why do they call themselves Boro? Another example of bad schooling? They already have numerical issues with the date on their badge...

1...9...8...6

M...I...D...D...L...E...S...B...R...O...U...G...H

Not fooking hard is it?

In your original post you said you have been reading the board for a few months, therefore you should have known what kind of reaction you were going to get, to expect anything else you would have to be really optimistic or really fookin stupid, i choose the latter.

I think this thread should be deleted as its only going to go downhill from here.

Showing some respect eh. Why do I always react negatively when someone attempts to claim the moral high ground and as a result appears dead dodgy.

In answer, why are you so confident your remarks are reasonable and who are you to judge whether your comments are respectful. Surely that's the recipients perogative.

Your comments appear to be very arrogantly aggresive and designed to ellicit a negative response, in my respectful, humble opinion.

Is that the definition of a wind up?

Well I've 'adopted four loveable loids, we get free electric from them, we give each one an hour on the treadmill. We get them worked up by showing them a life size hologram of Uncle George for them to chase.

Mr Gremlin I am surprised by your comments because coming home through your patch Sunday afternoon after a superb lunch at Farrars (surely the best Restaurant on Teesside) I saw 2 Mags, 1 Man U and a very rare Celtic supporter all wearing their shirts. I take it that these must be protected species on your patch or is Sunday your day of rest.

what a knob for suggesting that.

Pools fans hate the boro simply because they show no respect for Pools. I dont know where the decision comes from, but they seem to always play Darlo York etc in pre-season friendlies. Never Pools. When they have young prospects they never come to Pools, again always Darlo and York. Now bearing in mind that York or Darlo never agreed to ground share with the fcuking smoggies back in 86 and we did, why the lack of respect?

That hopefully might answer your question or at least start to fill some blanks.

and the fact that a minority of your already pi$$ poor fans come from HArtlepool!!! that might explain why your fans are crap. an awful lot dont come from Boro they come from smaller areas (Billingham, Yarm, Darlo etc) so the passion for the club isnt there, these so called fans only go to watch the bigger clubs visiting the Riverside!!!!!

Get a grip and support your home town club. People like you boil my urine!!!!!

Just a final message lads. While you were all hating the guts out of me, at least you weren't fighting amongst yourselves for a few days.

Up the Pools

Oh nearly forgot Mr Gremlin I thought you were a true Cod Head, which means you can only support Pools, Rovers or BBOB in any combination depending which bar you are in at the time.

By, there's been some poor attempts at wind-ups on here over the years, but this one by Bahrain Poolie/Lawrence Of Arabia/Headland Smoggie is truly cringeworthy. Tell me sir, why bother?

I think you have missed the point totally Einstein. It was just a simple distraction as you would have noticed if you had read all of my last post doh  .

Cringeworthy? Well if you are going to shout wind-up but continue to bite a few more times like a rabid dog with a table leg, then cringeworthy would be a very suitable word. But dont to hard on yourself.

PS
Protecting your reputation by rubbishing that which has made you look a bit silly, has to be done by an expert.......... You don't qualify
