On Saturday I had a great long session on the gauge. I felt as rough as a bastad file when I got up the next day mind, until the statutory Sunday morning evacuation. It did take a good half hour to shift it all though, so I had to lie down afterwards to get rid of the pins and needles.

I felt loads lighter, I could move my limbs more freely, I had more energy, and almost a spring in my step. Our lass on the other hand was almost comatose from the smell. As I get older I find the stench is richer and travels further.

I'm sure you have seen plenty of women dropping the kids in the pooll during your time Kevin.

A good fry up after a night out will either sort you out or make you loads worse - I don't get why that is.....

95% of the time it sorts me right out.
The other 5% of the time it causes high speed projectile vomiting

No 'magical' hangover cure works for me

Fry-Ups, pint of fresh orange, blah de blah de blah
The HOP does help, but the only thing that works for me is sleep and loads of it

I'm on the waggon now, I really can't handle hangovers or even drink anywhere as much as I used to, most be something to to with my fast approaching 40th.......

There is no 'cure', if you don't want a hangover?...don't drink too much.

I must in a huge minority then, no matter how much I have had to drink I have never had a hangover, maybe the secret for me is not mixing drinks, I usually start with beer and finish with beer, no lager, spirits or alcopops for me

There is no cure, a hangover is the reaction of the body to blood poisioning. Eating a small amount of hemlock has the same effect. You just have to wait for your liver to clean the toxins out of your blood.
