p.s. Do you want me to ask you if you're Danny, because it must be a couple of weeks since I have

I'd rather have Antwi in defence than a ten-bob, HOOF IT, Unibond merchant like Nelson. I cried with laughter the other day when i read in the Mail how he had such an indiffrent season due to a change of keeper and an unsettled defence rolfl

Nothing to do with his own "performances" then sctatchinghead

I can't believe you just said that about Micky Nelson - don't you rememember that blazing hot August day back in Division Two, 3-1 down, who saved us with his thunderous free kick to win a fairytale first match back in the division for twelve years.

If it wasn't for Beckford in the last minute, it could have been Nelson at the Rink End who scored to give Hartlepool United araguably their greatest ever victory agaianst the mighty Leeds United !!!!!!

I don't think he's ten-bob and hoofs it - if Leicester were chasing he's capable of reaching Championship level.

Come on, son. Get a grip.

You'll have to explain that one, because most of the half decent players Leicester had, are jumping ship.
Can't see him reaching Championship level, with Leicester

a player has one indifferent season out of about 5 and he gets slated, how fickle?

Nelson has been fantastic since the day he signed for pools, whover signed him russ green, ken hod, tommy miller snr, sharron precious, lawrence, it was an inspire signing and well worth the bargain 85k

I never said he shouldnt get it in the neck, people can just be very fickle and forget how good of a fantastic player he has been for pools over the years, and even 90% of the time last year.

Christ humphreys had one good season and he's lived on that ever since.

(cue abuse)

Being pedantic here but it wasn't a free kick, Strachan scored a cracker mind.

Son? I think I know you and I'm sure you're only 17 or 18!

Nelson had a bad season and perhaps showed just how good Westwood and Benno have been alongside him. Surely if he was that good he'd be good regardless of who plays alongside him? Or is that Antwi's fault as well?

Collins came in and has put Nelson in the shade. Benno and Collins should be starting in defence this season.

but they won't...Clark and Collins will end up taking turns to partner Nelson!!
If he gets a good keeper behind him and he reproduces his old form from the first couple of seasons here then nobody will argue about him being first choice. Based on last season, he should be 3rd choice.

I'm one of Nelsons' biggest fans and I also agree with that, As unfortunate as it is the other two are better, Its up to Nelse to get back to his best and prove it

The conspiracy theorists reckon its down to him growing his hair back, We want that Bald Micky Nelson of old back thats for sure

My mate who is a Man U fan reckons this lad isnt quite good enough for the Prem, But would certainly do a job in The Championship / League 1

Reckons he'll be a good signing for us

With all due respect, what the fook would a MU fan know about what's good enough for League One or not?

Looking at Yeovil's site (Yeovil have seen him in action more times than Manyoo, namely SIX!), I seem to detect a kind of majestic indifference towards the boy Jones.
