Fun to watch other people play on it... not exactly my sort of thing, suppose it helps if you are really trying to get fit as well as it has personal records of your weight, bmi and other stuff...maximum gameplay 4 weeks before you start getting bored.

I paid 99p for a code off Ebay that enabled me to get it for £47.50 from the Littlewoods website, expected to get ripped off but it really worked... perhaps you should try the same?

The novelty is wearing off a little of the Wii i must admit, but i still turn it on and have a dabble when bored enough!
I am getting fit, but i dont see how its going to get me any fitter, it must be very good for a work out

I was in one shop this morning asking about them and the gadgie there said that Nintendo don't actually have any at present to dispatch

My mam and dad have got one and it is quite a good laugh, I should just go over to their house when nobody is in and pinch theirs really

You can get the same effect by trying to balance yourself on a piece of wood with a marble underneath. Pretend to do some hula hooping and you're set

My brother got one the same day he bought his Wii, which was when Wii Fit came out - very lucky to get one. I haven't seen any since the first batch, which is pretty shocking (a couple of months). The problem is that they export them to Germany for testing and evaluation before they hit Britain. I'd just hang on for a little longer - the next batch is going to be huge and will probably over-match the demand.

The game itself is brilliant, helps you do some great exercise and is worth the money, especially when other games come out for the Balance Board. It helps with weird things as well like posture, centre of weight, that kind of thing. Most of all it makes exercising fun, something I have never found it to be. It measures your BMI, allows for programming in a regime to lose weight over a period of time, all sorts.

Get it though, it's excellent. What the Wii was made for really.

SNES version was class, NDS equally as good, Wii version brings a whole new dimension to it, especially if you're playing online.

Fancy passing on your friend code for a whipping?

You don't need a wi-fi adaptor for the wii, they are already wireless.

i connected mine to my wireless router no problem.

The problem is i dont have a wireless router, we dont need on we have the world longest cable which makes the lap top moveable around the flat, with ease.

The wi-fi adapter just connects the Wii to the Laptop acting as the router i guess...

Yeay, we can have a Bunker Mario Kart tournament on line!!

Drifting is still there Mr Chin, you can set it to manual (which i find i bit tricky) or leave it on auto, which is the default setting. Its also worth buying a wii classic controller if you dont have one already, cos i find that wheel thingy fecking impossible!!

Aye, I think Guitar Hero 3 will be my next purchase, even if it's for playing Sabotage by the Beastie Boys alone.

My current list is:
Wii Sports, Madden 07, Excite Truck, Wii Play, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Mario Strikers, Scarface, Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Mario Kart Wii

What I want:
Super Smash Bros Brawl, Guitar Hero III, Wii Fit, Okami, Metal Slug Anthology

The Wii was too slow on the game releases early on, but some of the plans for new ones are brilliant. I haven't brought my Wii to Leeds though (yet), so I'm in no rush to get anything. Mario Kart Wii is phenomenal though - the 150cc is well hard though, Mario Kart traditionally likes to rape you on the last lap after you've led from the off rage

P.S. You CAN power boost but you need to put it in Manual transmission. I didn't figure that one out for ages. You use the trigger at the back when going into the turn to hop and skid, then you get blue then yellow boosts (as opposed to the other way around in older games). You can only get blue on bikes, but you can also wheelie with them on straights for boost too. Shake the controller up when going over jumps to do a trick and land with a boost too.

I've set it to manual and its miles easier to win!
i use the steering wheel for authenticity like, I always want to race a go-kart!

You need to have a saved game on Mario Galaxy to unlock a character i was told yesterday, thats a little crafty of Nintendo!!!

I'm going to buy the lead at the weekend i think and get my ass kicked off the Japs online! im not too good but got plenty of time to practice!!

She wont let me play with Guitat Hero till the 9th the tart! so got to wait banghead banghead

Wii Mario kart tournament sounds good to me

Next time im on the Wii i'll make a note of the number Mr Fens and let you know...........dont hold your breath like, having a two year old and a three month old makes time for playing games, (and anything else for that matter) rather difficult!!
