Or cycle, unless you've had your bike nicked......

And watch some daft ginger hull loving ponce drop in some americanisms and then think no one would notice. Or care. And then have the nerve to think it was funny.

i'm sure theres a shitload of people who will do it for a lot less than 32 never mind 36

I have my driving test on Thursday. Even if I pass, I don't think I'll own a car for a few years - completely pointless.

Might get a Sinclair C5.

True true. I also blame the Environ MENTALISTS. And those that dont drive.

I concur.

Fully.

Cyclists should be fair game to any car driver cos they don't pay road tax.

the football season could see a decrease in the number of travelling fans if the cost of getting there becomes too prohibitive.

Exactly, a right clart on.

Most days of the year you can get a train to Newcastle, but not the one day that I want to use the fker.

these days you see folk driving their kids half a mile to school everyday in 4 by 4's or driving 100 yards to the shop to get a paper.

i dont think anyone is advocating scrapping the motor car altogether but i do find it most amusing that the gas guzzling fatties pour scorn on the enviromentalists who have warned for donkeys that crude oil is not going to be around forever.

i also love the irony of folk what wont let their kids walk to school cos its too dangerous.

I concur.

Don't blame us lot, we're self sufficient in petrol ta. We make biofuel from sugar cane waste, we don't need fossil fuel so much    We're self sufficient in everything ta. The ironic thing is that if my lot went to the OPEC countries and said 'fookin' stop it  ,' they'd stop it. If Greedy Gordon goes to them and says the same thing......... rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl

Also here it's 1.80 a gallon because Greedy Gordon hasn't been lumping on for 10 years.

Remember folks, there was no credible alternative.

Live with it.

I went without having a motor for 6 months around 10 years ago. I cadged lifts to away matches - just paid me petrol fare and could drink to my heart's content. Used to walk to the shops and to the bank etc - in the end when I got another motor I hardly used t because I had got used to my new ways. Weekly supermarket shop was walk there, taxi back. Work was 1 mile by bike to train station, train to Billingham and on the bike again for the 2 miles to work. Trains don't run so early these days though  banghead banghead
Slipped back into old ways badly now though :uhoh:
It showed it can be done (so long as public transport is reliable)
