Sounds like we're hammering yet another team 0-0!

Well that's two unhappy teams tonight then.
No-goal Pools strike again.

I'm glad I stayed away then after listening to the commentary. I'll go to Accrington (new ground to visit) but I will be keeping my £18 from now on until the club clears out the rubbish, and brings in decent replacements (and I still think Paul Sturrock should be sounded out about being our new manager, and sorry Wilson but if he agrees it should be bye bye to you). Roll on January and see what happens then.

We played well Parmo, I don't care what anyone says we are playing football the right way under Wilson. I'd rather be watching this than the dross we where watching this time last season, the results have been frustrating yes but nobody is going to tell me we didn't play well and deserve to win today.

He'll get it right with time and support.

PS before anyone gives me any sanctimonious replies, I'm not going to argue with any of you about this. My decision is based on my inability to pledge further loyalty to some players who, quite frankly, gave me the impression they did not want to be at the Deva Stadium at all last week. The excuses/sending off were just a smokescreen for another poor performance against another poor team. Something of a recurring theme there - that's right, we are also a poor team and we should see it for what it is. I said TEAM BTW, as I believe there are some good players at Pools. It's the culmination of watching 30 years of football in division four and we are back where we started. Colchester are in the Championship, Crewe are in that division at least half the time these days. Crap clubs like Chesterfield spend most of their life in League One. Etc Etc. Come on Pools players and management, if you can sort it out and prove me wrong (although I don't believe you can) I will apologise, but you have given me no reason to believe that I will have to.

i agree with pj we played well but the lack of goals cost us again.
i think in the jan transfer window wilson will be doing a bit of wheeling and dealing and until he has 11 players he has brought in we cannot blame him he inherited scottys legacy

I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD TEAM PERFORMANCE...if you needed any proof, look at the darlo suppoerters, they were so tense it was unreal, they just stood motionless and for their numbers were pathetic. We hammered them 0-0 and I can't say one player disappointed me .

I may have said this before but - Parmo you must be the most negative person I have ever met

Up to you if you don't want to come to games, but you always seem to see the negative side, todays was a good performance, problem was We didn't have anyone who was up to scoring (although their keeper did make a couple of good saves towards the end of the game)

Scoring in cup games doesn't seem to be a problem

Barnet however - spanking - I hope so, but you have to score to administer a spanking confised

We have played them 8 times at home in the league and we have won 5 drew 2 and lost 1. How can you forget the last home game when we spanked them 6-1 when Midgley got a hat trick

well, all you optimists keep cheering on the hopeless strikers and midfielders who can't score a goal to save their lives. Me, I'll prefer to wait to cheer on some players who can do their jobs, if we sign them sometime in the near future. If this season starts to go pear-shaped and we end up near the bottom again, then I can guarantee everyone on here will be screaming for blood - and demanding to know why nothing was done to prevent us sliding down the shit league. I don't have faith in Wilson to sign good players even if they are available (FFS he tried to sign that Bas Savage and he DID sign Ali Gibb)!!!!
PS. STURROCK IN!!!

No he didn't. If he'd wanted to sign him he was there for the taking.

Darlo had a great strikeforce on paper.

Then again, I'm sure that the Nazi invasion of the USSR in 1941 looked good on paper too

Hahaha!

I did Godwin's Law about 2 weeks ago in one of my History seminars.

And as it was pretty intentional, the discussion goes on

I was gonna go for Vietnam but I had second thoughts
