how badly do we need a striker FFS?!

we killed darlo 0-0! it'd have been carnage if we just had someone to stick it in the net!

foley 1st half was superb
we went off the boil fo r a bit start of the 2nd, but that wasnt really a problem cos darlo had nowt, surprised me just how sh it they actually are!!
which makes it even worse that we coul;dnt score.....

if only eh?

still, good performance in my humblest........

oh aye, what was the point in bringing bullock on?

Carnage? Killed Darlo? Wake up you stupid fuck.

You were laughably poor, and all you had was a few players that ran about a lot.

I am in no way impressed by our performances under Gray, clearly we went there to sit back and hold onto a clean sheet. This is why you had more attacks.......because we LET you.

You are a poor to average division 4 team and like I predicted in pre season, are going nowhere.

If that was playing well, then God help you.

With the greatest of respect Quakerz - BOLLOX

We were all over you for the majority of the game, we need a striker that's all

Why would your manager go to a local derby & play for a draw?

You are full of shit my friend

Ok seeing as you seem to be a bit dim I'll ask the question again in a different way

What sort of pathetic shower goes to a local derby & LETS the opposition attack them the bulk of the time? It's asking for trouble & makes no sense

Let us play  You need help stupid

It was clear that we set our stall out for a clean sheet and fook the rest.

And yes it made no sense, not to me either.....as we simply can't play that way.

Luckily today, we were only up against a powderpuff Pools outfit that will never get promoted so long as I have a hole in my arse, so it was job done.

Well you are entitled to your (deluded) opinion, hope it makes you happier to think your manager/team didn't have the balls to try to win the game

My view is you came up against a much better team who unfortunately couldn't score (not I hasten to add because of the quality of your defence, which was weak) You were lucky not to get slaughtered

And yet Quakerz, for a supporter of a team who are even more "average", you're getting promoted according to you.

And you said anything less than 3 points for your lot at the Vic was a failure.

So you failed (much in the same way you did trying to hit the target just once)

No you can't. According to you lot that was a good performance and you battered us, just need a striker etc. That was your maximum, and you've got nobody to stick the ball in the net. Whereas that was our worst performance in over 6 days.

In over 6 days? Surely a joke, so I'll take it as one; Darlington have no concept of the word consistency. You got paggered by Rochdale, ffs.

And just how many Pools games have you seen in the last 7 years? At the moment we're a shadow of our former selves. Obviously you're happy to forget the whole 13-goals-in-a-week thing.

Joachim was nothing on that pitch - great investment lads; Johnson was the lone "striker", and we all know how adept he is at that. Conlon who? He's fooked. I'm genuinely surprised you didn't get your 20th red card of the season, too.

Pools were very ordinary on Saturday, but I'm guessing you're happy just to stick to the few posts that you agree with?

At the end of the day, regardless of how ordinary we were, you didn't rise to the generally low display that we put out. No shots on target, two shots off target, and the closest you got was when Close nearly headed it into your own net. You'll never get promoted this season. End of.

I bet you can. Old men can always turn the clock back now and again.

But the older they get, the less this happens.

And fook me quakerz do you have some old men.

We have about 4 players over the age of 30 in our 29 man squad.

Especially if you keep playing like you have been

I love the fact that you're basing your argument on something that Darlington have shown very little of lately (ability).

Neither of us will get promoted this season.

Especially you lot.

And nobody aged older than 32.

Hardly cause to be considering us a Dads Army just yet.

I think you are making up stats now John.

You seemed to make an extremely sweeping generalisation earlier though, to be fair.

And with a top scorer with more goals than any of your players (including Conlon... was the hat-trick just ornamental?), you can't really comment on strikers

THANK GOD you aren't training boxers...of all the brass necked, logic defying, pig headed excuses that takes the biscuit out of the Pitbulls mouth..... When the bleedin obvious stares Quakers squarely in the face, he defies logic and decides he is right, a Captain Mainwaring of the messageboards, he stands utterly convinced of his own misguided point of view.
