Pietersen is pure class, he's needed to adapt his game to make a slow hundred in conditions like this and this has been his slowest hundred yet.

And do we have another bottle-less durham player to join Harmison now?

He's been immense since coming back to the county side. Considering he's helped them to get into the Freidns Provident semis again, I'd say he could get back into the squad soon. As long as Mustard goes with him - I can't see any argument against getting a wicket keeper in who can actually bat

Collingwood could do with a rest. He's just not firing at all this summer.

I still can't help but laugh at Pietersen's predicament of coming in to bat, number 4, after 2 balls had been bowled at Lord's. By that point I was too hammered to do anything but laugh. If only Ottis Gibson was still playing for Durham sadx

Ah well, at least we get Chanderpaul back in a few weeks

I was at the ground when Ottis Gibson took all 10 wickets against Hampshire last season.

Durham's loss is England's gain.

I wish I'd've seen that - although you'd think that they'd've learned enough from that 10 wicket torment to avoid being 0-2 off two balls rolfl
