The Tiger & Scorcher and Roy Of The Rovers!

Such classic stories as Billy's Boots, Johnny Cougar, Martin's Marvellous Mini, Football Family Robinsons, Roy Race School Days... ah great stuff.

Meanwhile my older sister used to get The World Of Wonder and Look and Learn... guess who has the brains in our family?

I used to get the Beano & Dandy, but then once I began taking an interest in football, I bought the SHOOT every week. I even got three penpals (one in Israel, one in Italy and one in Austria) through the penpal section. Only trouble was, when I took the mag. to school, the lads in my class all wanted to take it off me !!

'Beano', then 'Battle', which became 'Battle/Action Force', featuring stories about the minature action figures.

Then 'Viz', and er, 'Razzle' :uhoh:

And of course, not forgetting 'Monkey Business'!
