for the first time i listened to the radio commentary of the loids game

seeing as we have a game coming up next week

i thought i might get some insight to the loids ambitions

for eighty minutes they struggled against a compact Barnet side who especially in the second half they were the better team
just as len brewer turned on the cricket we lost the commentary and sure enough darlow scored
"Ray man" and Liddle between them decided it might have been off side but the goal stood
then they get a second via a Barnet defenders boot
so from being very down at heart at the prospect of going to pools on a run of 8 games without a win they were saved and their spirits rose
from what i heard today we should really not fear them if we play to our strengths but will we?
we seem to have equal strengths and weaknesses so it will depend on the day
Lidds seemed to think if darlow dont score early their heads go down and he said half the team prior to going ahead were hiding and the comment was made that they are looking for a good centre half who will take control on the pitch and organise
and they hope to sign before next weeks game
i must say i like to hear lidds as he is fair and he knows what is what and did not flannel where as "Ray Man' just blows with the wind
it sounds like the majority in the know at darlow are rooting for Martin Gray to get the job and he is desperate for it three points today and three next week could secure it for him
so come on Mr Wilson you know what you have to do
