I take it you wouldnt reccomend B&Q ?
The Mrs has someon coming out from B&Q tomorrow,I told her that she must mention that she is also waiting for quotes from Focus, her response was "but I dont like Focus" banghead
She might as well write mug on her head before they turn to save them trying to suss her out.

The kitchen fitters i do work for all use Howdens but he said the other day there is not much difference in em all now though. Try MFI they have some nice kitchens in there, a bit pricey but better quality IMO should last longer.

Cheers Timmy,Ill check em out.
I just hope the Mrs has the sense to let em all know that there are others quoting too if they turn up while Im out.

A couple of years ago she got a cold call off some kitchen company & let em come & give us a quote.3 hours later the guy started waffling about payment plans & credit terms & was very reluctant to just tell me the total cost.In the end he rang his boss to ask permission to give me a straightforward quote which was 9 grand
.A couple of days later his colleague turned up under the excuse of "We'll qoute you direct from the warehouse instead of through the sales department",he got it down to 3 grand but only if I went ahead there & then. When I told him no,He suddenly decided that he could leave the quote in case I changed my mind.
Fortunately all the money etc is in my name so she cant make any payments without me.

if you find the kitchen you want at any of the big DIY suppliers and you're short of a fitter, i use a bloke who is spot on and very reasonable. he did the kitchen and bathroom at one of the places we rent out and he's just done the tiling for our shower room. his work is top quality, and he's a good lad too. let me know tony.

Don't use Court, they were reluctant to put things right when they messed up my kitchen, I ended up taking them (ironically) to court and won refred .

I wouldn't go to Court Kitchens either, mainly because the blokes voice from the radio adverts does my head in

If you want supply only try ikea. I looked around lots of places and found, to my surprise that their cabinets and accessories were better quality than Q+B, Hyena etc. They also have a complete design tool on their website and you can save your design and upload it instore in case of any discrepancies.
