Which design do you prefer? bear in mind that on the new version avatars will be on the left and the width will be full screen. Also the boards will be more defined.

I'm voting for new, it looked smart and after a while we'll get used to it. Maybe Dibbs can have his own board set out in this style?

MrI, I assume this board runs on PHPBB? I think users can select the look they would like for the site from a drop down in PHPBB Could be wrong though

There is no point being a dissenting voice on here so I'll just go with the majority.

The majority are speaking, 19-17 towards the new one. Make that 19-16 because whinging estimators don't count.

I don't understand the question :uhoh:
Are we being asked to vote on something we haven't seen yet?

Yes I know
But you've said the new version will be as above, whereas it's already as above. This is the confusion

But we all know that Dribble has voted about a dozen times.

The only surprise is that he hasn't registered new members as Robert Mugabe and Zanu PF.

But you are not telling me that making the board look pretty is a way of atttracting new bunkerites?

And if that IS the case..........do we really want dickheads like that?

Since fooking when does a still professional-looking new design attract 'dickheads'? Who are you to judge any prospective new members? stpid

Typical bunker 'end-of-term' argument. Makes absolutely no difference either way to most people, but engenders satisfying and ear-emitting fumes from anatagonists

I say do away with the board completely and replace it with Morse Code or even blazing signal beacons, although the smilies may be a problem...

In the new look I was looking for the 'view new posts' button and then 'next topic' 'first unread post' and wasn't able to fully sort it out to look at the posts by my usual MO.

I usually get new posts up, start at the bottom and work up the list with 'next topic' and 'first unread post' buttons then you don't miss anything.

Doesn't everyone do that?

It'd be a shame if the new look lost some viewing features. Apart from that if you stand still you go backwards so new look for me.

I do it that way too, so much easier to navigate. I mentioned the lack of the next/previous topic but I was the only one at the time.

Progress - pah!
