In the days without the bunker I realised that I've never read 'Loidland'. To read it you have to register so I did and they've banned me before I was even activated

Bah humbug!

it says much for the calibre of reading material on such a place, if they are too embarrassed to let the world see it.

Let me give you all some facts.

I'm banned off the Hartlepool Rivals board. The reason I am banned is because in response to some dickheads who brought our board down, I went and did the same to the Pools board, I wasn't the instigator. I got banned for that and I'm not going to argue it (don't particularly care either) and the troublemakers got banned off our board. Fair enough if you ask me, everybody got dealt the same hand.

However after much moaning by Poolies, and criticism of Scott "not being able to take it" etc, they were allowed back on. They are free to post again. They served their time. I to this day remain banned from the Poolie board. This is not fair, but then life isn't fair.

What was the point I was making? Well for Poolies blubbing on here that they aren't allowed on Loidland, look at the example above and remember that LIFE IS NOT FAIR. You're just going to have to deal with it, just as anybody else has to, who feels they have been unfairly treated. Its the way of the world.

As for the reason of PJ's banning. It is not about having a secret club and it is not about any other reasons suggested.

It is about the fact that Loidland does not want members on there that will read the board, and come back here and "report to base". This just creates more trouble. The point about coming back on here and causing trouble has already been proven by PJ blubbing that he's not allowed on. No doubt if he was allowed on he would be trying to "find" stuff to report back on here - not that there is anything worth finding from a shit stirring point of view, but I'm sure some fellows would find something and embellish it.

PJ may well feel hard done by, but, well, thats the way it is and hey, join the club PJ.

PS as for the suggestions that it is simply a DJ arse licking club, you couldn't be further from the truth. Its a Darlo board for Darlo fans, but we still argue a lot of points, which is the whole point of a forum anyway.

And likewise The Bunker used to be quite amusing for ECG's not so sweet obsession with DJ. Always two sides to a story isn't there? Not that ECG ever posted it on the viewable board of course for the rank and file to see. He's not daft.

And he is not allowed on here. Not a big fan of dissent is your administrator then? I just love the way you lot only see one side. Its not OK for Poolies to get banned on LL, but it is OK for Loids to be banned on here.

Same with Rivals.

There is some truth in what Q says and a fair bit in ADG's comment about reopening old wounds. (Mind you, if I passed DJ in the street I would attack him without a second thought for his comments about my missus.) However, nobody is banned off here for no reason, the extensive ban list stretches to three people.

The trouble with message boards in general is that people will say stuff they wouldn't say face to face and their persona is magnified out of all reality. That said, people do tend to respond to their environment. Take Quakerz and Sussex for example; both are hated on Rivals and blamed for bringing down the board. On here they've both perfectly reasonable in the main with some (very few) exceptions - but no more than the rest of us.

I've got no problem with the likes of these guys posting on here, there are a fair number of Poolies of whom I would much less read their ramblings. As for Loidland opening its doors or not; its their board and their choice.

woah woah quackerz. i would welcome deej on here, as he would be summarily dissected and sent packing. what i object to about him is his long long history of racist views and highly personal targetted abuse that's often gone beyond the bounds of the message boards. i too would attempt to kick the living shyte out of him if i ever saw him, but as the fat coward is only a keyboard warrior that's very unlikely. i would like to see you post on here more often as you usually  make some good points. i have had a go at you and you have returned the banter, but its never ever got out of hand like it does with that self-promoting seven fingered onanist

Hmmm, I'm not so sure that I'm hated on Rivals. Certainly there will be some that hate me, including the Aministrator, but the fact is I brought the board down once, not every day. And even that was a deliberate point that I was making rather than anything else. If everybody hates me for that, then that is their lookout, and of course it doesn't help me that I cannot defend myself when they slag me off about it.

And its easy for people to continue hating me when they can criticise me, and get no comeback from me. If their comments are unopposed then they must be right - right?

Like I said before, I'm not particularly bothered about being banned from HUFC Rivals, I could even view it as a badge of honour I suppose, and to be honest my posting on there had became very rare compared to say 4 or 5 years ago, so I don't even miss it, but the thing that annoyed me was that people who cause trouble on our board, worse and more regular than what I did I might add, have had their bans rescinded. Thats what got me, one rule for one, another rule for others.

However it is up to the individual Administrator at the end of the day and Scott is very good for things like that, despite the stick he gets from Poolies about being soft and unable to take it when things get out of hand and he starts pressing the ban button.

As for the comment about people acting one way on Poolie Bunker and Loidland and another way on Rivals, I find that you tend to treat a board as that board and its inhabitants treat you.

He wouldn't. People would try it, he'd fight back, it'd get nasty, and he'd get banned because you couldn't win.

Racist views? Come off it. As for highly personal abuse, fair enough he's no Angel and like anybody can take it too far, but its OK for you as you can see just the one side, that side being ECG "victimised" by the nasty DJ - I have seen both sides, its not pretty, and DJ is not all at fault there.

Again, this is unlikely to help the situation, you're just holding a red rag to a bull there. He isn't going to be happy that even though he does not come on here, he will see that he is still a talking point, still slagged off, and it'll make him angry. Like I said on another post, there is nowt worse than being called this that and the other and watching it escalate because you cannot step in and defend yourself.

In reality he is not half as bad as pointed out, for a start he only has 6 fingers not 7. Aye, he can be a right damned bounder - he would say when provoked - but then so can most other people. The whole DJ thing has taken on a life of its own of mythical proportions and it continues to feed itself even when he's said or done nowt.

Thats all fair Quakerz but if reading the board and reporting 'back to base' was my intention I think I'd have tried to read it before now, how long has Loidland been up and running?

I'm not at all bothered but I have no want or reason to cause trouble that stuff has got pretty tedious in the past I just wanted to see how some of the more sensible Darlo fans are viewing your slump, I've even got on with most of you in the past in message board world. You never know I might of even made a decent contribution.

I always thought I'd want to punch him too but after bumping into him at Darlo train station, he seemed like a nice bloke. I think a lot of the online bullshit that comes about is a tale of two halves, and although a lot of it is not blameless (and I don't know the true extent of his misgivings with other people and I intend to keep out of it), it's water under the bridge between me and him, as far as I'm concerned.

Plus he knows now that I have a significant height and weight advantage clappp

I promise you that if I bumped into him on a train station or anywhere else I'd inflict as many serious injuries as I was capable of.

To be honest, I wouldn't hold it against you at all. I was actually caught a little off guard by the meeting, but he never said anything that personally offended me. I don't really get offended by online stuff - although if I had a wife, I may have agreed with you.

It would be wise to leave Mr GP's personal attributes out of this. Still haven't completely ruled out that he is a distant cousin of mine twice removed. If so I warn you the family clan are a force to be reckoned with
