Well some of the lazy gits from yakkersville who are milking the state benefits and living in the social clubs and betting shops on weekdays ought to realise that if there were no Poles or Slovakians or whoever here grafting and paying tax their very own benefits could be under threat. Also if some of the lazy gits in this country got off their arses and did some graft then we would be a nation of virtual full employment and there would be no jobs for other europeans to take........

I love how the BNP whine on about Poles stealing all our jobs even though unemployment is at its lowest since records began in the mid-70s. You also tend to find that the ones that are complaining are those on the dole that are happier to sit on their arses all day collecting benefits because they passed the physical for having kids

I keep bumping into people talking in what imagine to be Polish. They all look bright, washed and well motivated.

Unlike a lot of the of the indigenous population who's most despiscable chacteristic is a spiteful defiance and self-destructiveness.

I've worked with a few Poles before(the people not the objects, I wasn't an exotic dancer) and they were the hardest grafters I've ever seen.

I employee over 50 EU people, and to be totally honest with you they are just the same as the English guys, you get your good guys, the moaners the unreliable one's and the trouble makers

Long gone are the days when people form the EU come over and put their heads down and graft. However there is a skill shortage in the north east and many companies are having to look into the EU to fill that gap, I'm all for EU candidates coming into this country to benefit which ever company they are employed by.
However you will find most Polish people are wanting to go back now, job opportunities back in Poland and investment into the country has increased 10 fold

It has been proven that since we allowed A8 migrants into the country, it has not had the impact which the government promised it would apart from put a strain on our national health, education and benefits

If they are pre pare to come into the UK, unless they are contributing to our state then they should not be allowed to claim any benefits what so ever. I blame the government for making this possible this country needs a new approach to this problem and I believe that Labour are not the party to do it

I heard a lot of this too. We employ lots of East Europeans and there is an undercurrent of them wanting to return to Poland / Lithuania. The collapse of the pound v the Euro hasn't helped either. The money they are earning is worth about 15% less than it was a year ago.

Add to this the fact the their own countries are catching up fast in standards of living theres less and less reason to be here. For example; wages in Poland have rocketed since the walls came down and the property prices over their have done likewise. Poland is the latest country to boom following entry into the EU. First it was Portugal then Spain and now its the turn of Eastern Europe.

I'd hazard a guess that at least 50% of these people clear off in the next two or three years.

Well regrettably you haven't got the choice. They're allowed to come and go as they want. There's plusses and minuses and Mr Head is a good example, a fine man who polluted France for many years.

A lot of these Poles coming over here to work are doing jobs that lazy scrounging people over here wont do, they are more than happy to sit on there arses and just live of us.
