Advocate Wilson out, and they are entitled to that opinion.

But the one thing they don't (or possibly can't) is to name a successor.

Apart from Wilson IOR have never appointed a manager who had previously been sacked, Turner (ex youth team manager) Newell (ex Reserve team manager) Cooper ( manager who resigned after feeling he had took his team as far as he could) Scott (worked under previous manager's at Pools')

So taking into consideration they would not appoint someone else who had been sacked, it would mean attempting to go to another club and asking permission to talk to their manager ,or appointing someone with no experience of managing a club in League one.

With all that in mind, and I not saying they won't appoint another manager whose been sacked, who do those who want Wilson out think should be appointed.

Most of the manager's previously mentioned by fan's as a possibility in times past have been out of the game to long to take a chance with.

So come on let's have people's opinion of who they would have in rather than just calling for Wilson's head. At least it a variation of reading post after post calling for him to go.

And if the club (or Wilson) do decide that at the end of the season that they are to part terms then let's have the new manager in place AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, not leaving it till end June/start July to appoint the new man so he can bring in his targets, and ensure that the player's he may want are not lost to other clubs. And not a money saving agenda by the club to save on the manager's wages for a few month.

The process that IOR used to appoint Cooper and Turner is possibly the best option even if it is un-autodox. Simply have a couple of weeks for applicants to apply, get the applicants down to a shortlist and then choose the best one.

I agree that IF a new man is put in place to do as you advocate, but what I'm saying is that that process should be made as soon as possible after the season end's. Meaning if Wilson goes he goes on May 5th, at the latest (2 days after season ends) and applicants are invited to apply ( on the day he is no longer manager) allowing the short list to be drawn up, the interviews to take place and the manager named some time in June this will allow him to know which player's have become available and him to target and hopefully sign the one's he want's.

Or appointing someone who "resigned after feeling he had took his team as far as he could"

Turner had been joint manager of Leyton Orient back in 94 so he did have some experience and I think he was sacked but not 100% sure.

Whoever may be appointed, opinions on here count for nowt and rightly so. I would never make a suggestion as I aint paying the bill.
As for Wilson going or not going, which I doubt he will be  ...action would be best taken quickly, as it also buggers up signing new players.

The way I feel after Saturday they can put who they like as manager. They can keep Wilson if they want to.

From being annoyed on seeing Robbie fkin Elliott in the starting 11 the afternoon just got worse and worse to the point where I left the ground when he brought Foley on. Putting him on was like throwing the towel in so I went to the pub.

Now I don't care. I'm not going to have someone like Wilson keep cacking my weekends up. Saturday was the final straw on deciding whether or not to get a season ticket for next season. I will not be buying one. Not only that but I won't be planning my whole weekend around when or who Pools are playing. In future I'll go and watch them if they deserve the support. I'll go if it doesn't clash with family stuff instead of putting Pools first. I'll go if I can be fked to go depending on whether or not I reckon the manager and the players can be fked to bother trying.

But this season he has become a joke. We have been through the endless list of foook ups. But saturdays was hard to beat. Saturday was the last straw for me.

Are any of you trying to tell me that there arent dozens of people out there that could have managed this group of players better?

Hereford away in the cup was the worst I have seen us this season. Gary Liddle started on the bench, not on until 54th minute when it was obvious at half time we needed some kind of change in the middle. Monkey not brought on until the 84th minute and Joel Porter left on the bench completely in a one off game where you get knocked out if you lose. To us lot down there that day it felt like Wilson never really wanted us to go for that game. It was as if we had a second leg to redeem ourselves or something the way he just seemed to go through the motions and never really get us to just go for it. These are the type of decisions that have resulted in the kind of season we are going through, baffling team selections and substitutions and a stubborn attitude from Wilson himself when it comes to his selections too with a total failure to just admit when he has got it wrong.

It was weird seeing people like you walk out with 25 minutes to go.

I figure if people like you have had enough, it wont be long before we get back to the 1500 fans the optimists crave.

Last week and this week I left before the final whistle, I have NEVER done that in nearly 20 years of watching Pools

Me

Because I would play our best left full back at left full back

I would play the best left sided midfielder in this division on the left hand side

I would let a right sided player play on the right

Why change your teams tactics at home to adapt to a piss weak Millwall team, although we contrived to make them look like a class act!

I cannot for the life of me figure why he dicked about with the team that played so well at home against the taffs

Was it injuries, no, was it to give a few youth teamers /reserves a run out, no

It was to piss about and tinker with the team for no reason whatsoever

Does the Radio Free China filter make Elliott out to be a decent fullback?, because from where I watch, he makes Humpty look like Rob Mckinnon............
