I wasn't at the game today due to work commitments. Can someone tell me how my favourite Pools player did on his return? clap

Same as ever Monty, now't much has changed!

Some'll say he was good others pooh. Commitment was there but his distribution, lets just say it was far and wide mainly of the mark!

I thought he played well, don't understand the comment about the distribution. Him & Matty had the left hand side sewn up for the second half, play well together. Personally I would have had Matty as MOM rather than Ritchie, although Nelse had another storming game.

Anyone else notice Joel limping during the second half?

Joel has evidently taken a smack on the knee, and Wilson reckons he's doubtfull for Tuesday. (Radio Borer iterview)

Perhaps Ritchie did do well second half, he was on the wrong side of the ground for me then. First half I thought many of his passes didn't reach their target and were wrongly weighted.

As always it's a matter of opinion, all I can defo say is I had my head in my hands after quite a few of his "passes".

it was a poor team performance against an ordinary Stockport side
rather than blame individuals i would question our game plan

good to see Richie back in the side and the ovation as his name was announced puts the doubters in the minority in the lounge he was voted mom but a board member fiddled it for Nelse to do the double didn't he Paddy

Agreed! Robson was full of running and his ball into Foley at the end (after a 40 yard run) deserved a goal. Ritchie even did a step over and went around his man at one point. I thought he was fantastic! Won all his headers, solid defensively, and really offered something going forward in the second half. Even some of his set pieces were better. As far as I'm concerned, if that's how he's responded to being sent to Vale, send them all there, one by one!

I think you will find that it was the other way round and the mob were trying to fill in as many sheets with nom de plumes ( I thought a pen would have been better) to gain a RH swing, however nelse was so far in front there wasn't enough sheets left to make a difference. rolfl

ritchie played alright. his best position is centre mid though. i was talking to a port vale fan who said ritchie was very average at left back and then moved to centre mid where he impressed everyone.
