via today's Northern Echo to use the Park and ride system on Saturday as they are expecting a 'healthy' crowd....................

No not because any more people from Darlington are going to turn up it's because Bradford are expected to bring a large following.

How embarrassing rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl

probably the wierdest game i've ever been to when we played darlo away, it seemed like the turn out of a reserve game with fan to seat ratio. Bradford seem to be getting a good following, i've heard they are reducing there season tickets even more next season to get capacity crowds.

If we had a ground and fan base that meant we could sell tickets that cheap I'm almost positively sure there would be a tiny chance we'd only have to pay £150ish for a season ticket.
Fact is we're the small boys just like gillens is to tesco, not a hope in hell really. Maybe Premiership clubs who can't fill their grounds, like Boro for example should do what Bradford are doing.

Pools simply need to make it massively cheaper to be a season ticket holder than a floater - that would push more people into getting season tickets......

Miss a couple of matches, it happens, ...... and your season ticket is a pointless outlay at a time of the year when you need your money for holidays , kids off etc.

A season ticket makes no sense for me or realistically very few of the pople who buy them. The differential between the cost of the season ticket and the cost of paying at each game is too small to make it a sensible purchase. As Snowy says, all it takes it to miss two games (actually less than two games) and you're out of pocket.

The only upside is that you're pretty much guarenteed tickets for play offs/big games etc but as a member of the non season ticket elite, I've yet to fail to get a play off ticket.

Personally I don't find the cost of purchasing a season ticket prohibitive but unless there is a better discount next season that makes it worthwhile shelling out in advance then for the first time in many many years I won't be buying one.

The discount for this season's tickets was pathetic.

To make season tickets financially viable supporters should really get at least 5 or 6 games for free. No individual season ticket at Pools should be more than 350quid. It is in HUFC's interest to have as many season ticket holders as possible because many season ticket holders drag floaters along to the match. The discounts last season were a bit pathetic which is why most of us didn't bother buying one. We are a bit lucky this season that we are playing some teams who are challenging for honours in the last few home games (forest and swans) otherwise attendances would be very low in the next couple of games with there being nothing to play for....

The price of kids tickets is excellent. £70????? was it?
More incentives to buy adult season tickets are required.

I concur with the kids tickets being excellent value Mr Hill, but not having kids myself those incentives mean knack all to me personally.
