Being fair to Pools, and this is the second time today I've based a post on the MH CD; Russ Green (and Mark Simpson) was hugely supportive of the CD and offered to help in any way he could. The crucial point is that he was as good as his word despite a few problems along the way of our making; the pitch invasion of a hundred kids springs to mind.

How could we keep 100 kids off the pitch?? They should have taken us down the tunnel and done the whole thing from in front of the stand.

Doesn't matter does it, the fact was that it went into the referees notebook as a pitch invasion and could have resulted in a fine to the club.

Russ Green has never fulfilled any of the promises he has ever made to both myself and people that I know, I'd be surprised if he came up with the goods here myself but stranger things have happened.

Sorry TPP but I can't agree with that, I like Russ Green & I believe he is a genuine guy, his problem is he wants to make everybody happy & takes on more than he can chew quite a lot of the time. If Russ offers his help or says he will do something he DOES mean it at the time, problem is I think his desire to help & his ability to deliver are sometimes at odds

I couldn't have heard anything more opposite at the time of the CD from many people hugely involved in the CD.

Let me have a guess at your problemss.....hmmm anything to do with you wanting something for nothing from the club you 'support' ? because the club do owe you a massive debt of gratitude as a supporter therefore it necessarily follows they should bestow special favours on you and when that doesn't happen RG is a shit
