Carole Barnes newsreader died today at 63 years old. Always liked her and still looked canny at 61 when the above photo was taken.

Don't think anyone had her in their list.

Mr I - 10 points (Paul Raymond)
Everyone else - nada!

You're useless you lot. No idea where Paul Raymond came from though, I seem to remember something about him on TV when I was doing the list.

I'm fairly certain that him being 93 had more to do with his life coming to an end.

Bit macabre this sitting on a fence waiting for people to die.

A bloke I know counted up how many people had been round his house and had since died. Every week it was.... 36 so far......I see Billy's gone..ah..37. The fact you'd been round his house and he was running a book on what number you were going to be was a bit disconcerting.

No bunkerites nominated then?

Charlton Heston has gone to find out what his maker thought of his Moses impression. Died yesterday aged 84.

On a quick check to see if anyone had him, thought I spotted him on PK's list but it turned out to be Charlotte Church.

Diddley had harsh words for the direction black music had taken in recent years, telling Reuters that "gangsta" rap made his blood boil.
"I hate it. I call it rap-crap," Diddley said in a 1996 interview. "I can't seem to get my records played but they'll play all this garbage."

That was because he was a better musician that they can ever hope to be.

A sad day for music.

I liked the bloke's music a lot but wouldn't really call him a great musician. He basically invented a new shuffle beat that was great for making songs with infectious repetition (and which allowed beginner guitarists to get a flying start by learning only ONE Chord!).

Bo's shuffle plus Buddy Holly song = Big hit for up and coming group. That was good.

So Harry Patch wouldn't be a good scoring bet either?
