Anyone else in agreement that they, AND Hodcroft must go, and go very quickly before we become the laughing stock over again.
Its strange how, when we were narrowly beaten/cheated (make your own choice, i know what mine is) by Sheff Wed in the play off final, they never really showed much disappointment with what was going on, then low and behols we go and get relegated the following season.

Also, they have never really supported any manager with what I would call real money but almost every other club in our division somehow manages to spend hundreds of thousand pounds every season

THE CAMPAIGN STARTS HERE - GET IOR OUT

Thats the worst post i have ever ever read

Hodcroft rarely comments in the media at any time, play off defeat, promotion or anything.

What did you want him to do? Cry?

But he has commented on posts like that one before. Anyone remember what he said?

Please Mr Hodcroft if you are reading this just ignore it.

Didn't he say if the fans are not happy he will go?

Tell you what, you pump money into a lower league club, year after year, they have rarely had success until you come along, few promotions, the odd blip, much better facilities than ever before, better players etc.

And people still are not happy.

im surprised you have kept the thread open!! my induction to pools couldnt have been much worse, a 5-1 home thrashing of carlise back in 95 i think, too see the team that played that day to the team we have today, with the ground improvments, training facilites, commercial aspects, i mean, nike are now in conncection with us, that is some move forward. Sir Harold kept us afloat and built a platform, ior have rewarded all his hard work by moving the club on and forward, just as he deserved. long may they stay around.

I was tempted but in the history of the Bunker its very very rare for anything to be deleted. Usually its better to let the majority shout down any ridiculous statements like the above. They look even sillier.

We spent £75,000 on Sam Collins just over a month ago. We've also brought in highly paid loan players like Thompson, Lee, and Craddock.

So he doesn't have a point and you are wrong.

You still have to pay them. You can't actually buy players after January.

We also had a bid accepted for Anthony Elding, Wilson has had more money than any other Pools manager if you look at reported £150,000 bids for Daryl Duffy as well. He's also bought Barker (£80,000) Monkhouse (£50,000) and Liddle (£25,000).

You are a 'know nowt' talking shite Mr Sussex

We may not have spent the most in the division but we have spent within our means & are still in our healthiest ever position as a football club.
The teams form comes & goes, but at least with I.O.R here we know the club is safe.

Isnt it interesting how you get shot down in flames for voicing an opinion, if you dont agree fair play but the abuse, not necessary!

I will stand by my comment from yesterday because, as a paying fan, its what i believe. For those of you who think they back the manager with ACTUAL money to BUY players not loan them, you need to look very closely at how much we have spent from what has been brought in from transfers going out, not a lot! If, as you say, IOR absolved our debt upon takeover how can they not provide the manager with a bigger chunk of incoming transfer money, like when Tommy Miller was sold, and when Adam Boyd was sold etc etc. I cannot fault them when it comes to upgrading our facilities because when they took over they were not great but its not enough.

Trouble is that without IOR, Pools would not exist. No if's buts or maybe's, we have gone to the wall years ago.

Its like anything though, somebody would want to takeover if it was up for sale or ownerless. There have been more major bad decisions made than good for my liking. Im sure im not the only one who feels the same, most people just dont say anything. On a positive note, it was a good away result yesterday although DW has a lot of work to do if he wants to restore any parity

The fact that we're unhappy to be mid table in the third division speaks volumes, when IOR took over we were over the moon to survive in the fourth.

These past ten years have been great days, we are jolly green giants walking the Earth - with guns.

Before IOR in 89 years 2 promotions, no play off campaigns. Hartlepool United = a laughing stock.

After IOR in 10 years 2 promotions, 5 play-offs campaigns, 1 play-off final with an opportunity to play in second tier for the first time. Vast improvements in the clubs image, ground, and quality of football.

Show me a board that's been in charge of any football for ten years or more that hasn't made mistakes. IOR are the best thing that has ever happened to Hartlepool United, they aren't perfect but to expect perfection is unrealistic.

Name one of these 'major bad decisions' made I can't really think of one, maybe appointing Martin Scott as manager when we were at the highest point we've ever been as a club. I think you'll find the vast majority of fans thought it was time he got a chance as manager and were in favour of the appointment though.

You're either unrealistic or just plain ungrateful.

No we didn't, IF we had been promoted to the Championship (the second tier) under Scotty it would have been the first time in our history. This division is as high as we've ever got
