me and Mrs Parmo are going, stopping the Friday and Saturday night in the Roundhouse Hotel, East Cliff.
PS I don't want anybody outside blasting horns at 3 am now I've told everyone where I'm going to be at.

I must try not to write messages with a kittn jumping on my keyboard, the whole family are from Dorset and I have managed to convert all my kids to Pools it's just the wife left.

She remains neutral for these matches or I don't let her visit her family, it's a simple choice for her.

Last time we were at Bournemouth was 2005 and we made a weekend of it... looking for somewhere to eat on the sunny May evening we passed a Travel Inn place in Christchurch and to cater for the fussier traditonal types who shall remain nameless (it was our lass) decided to pull in there for an evening meal. the entrance was round the back and it took a bit of a de-tour to get into the place... as we approached, our lass said..... " put yer foot down, the car parks chocker"..... pause ...... voice in back replies... " Doesn't the fact that all the cars in the car park have prices on their windows and are Land Rovers tell you something.....LIKE IT'S A LAND ROVER DEALERS?....the car parks just past it".
She was lost for words for a good 1.5 seconds.

you could have put one of the price stickers on your lass while you parked up, and see if anyone made you an offer when you got back.

The funny part was, we went in and had the meal, two couples, then we decided to drive back to the pub in Milford.... as we were about to leave, five blokes walked in and stood at the bar and one started pointing at us and talking to the others, then they all looked over..... 'she' spotted them and started talking loud... "who are they looking at" were her immortal words... So we decided to go and as we got to the door, they all looked at us, we were just about to leave when she decided to go to the loo..." ask them what their problem is"... was her second set of immortal words.. she was up for it....  They looked at me, I looked at them, she stayed in the bog, then the cavalry arrived, all one of him  .. so I said... "Can I help you?"..... PAUSE.... It turned out the were Poolies and. the one pointing was stood behind me to buy the tickets at the Vic and we'd spoken.
Problem solved... when I explained the situation to her, she said...."pity"
