If someone feels bad enough to want to end it all by suicide the last thing they want is some do-gooder to spoil their plans.
Can you imagine if someone had cut Ian Curtis down before he had time to hang, or if someone had knocked Kurt Cobain as he was about to pull the trigger - the history of music would have been changed forever.
Finally if Karen Carpenter had eaten the sandwich that Mama Cass choked on they may well have both been alive today.
