Accounts Assistant
Wagg Foods Ltd is a rapidly expanding, family business, manufacturing pet food at Dalton Airfield near Topcliffe, Thirsk.
Applications are invited to fill the post of Accounts Assistant. We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable and well motivated individual who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our friendly team.
Working with our Senior Accounts Manager, the successful candidate will be required to assist with the day to day running of the Purchase and Sales Ledgers, Payroll, Credit Control, Cash Book to Bank reconciliations and month end procedures. It is expected the scope of the role will increase over time as the company continues to expand and relevant training will be available to support this.
A high level of computer literacy and Microsoft Office are important, as well as AAT Intermediate Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
Benefits would include:
* A starting salary above £18k per annum, with a commitment to review within 6-9 months

* 24 days holiday in the first year plus Statutory Bank Holidays, rising to 26 days after 2 years with the company.
