We had a strange meal tonight for tea is it a hartlepool thing...

Faggots, warm pease pudding, tinned chopped tomatoes and chips.

Weve had it before only thing i can put it down too is its a townie thing with our lass being a codhead or its just something shes had as a kid and thinks we should eat it now too stpid. I ate it BTW cos i was hungry rolfl rolfl horrible like.

I worked there for a bit, first day in the canteen (if you could call it that) Charcuterie de jour, Guinea Fowl in summer berries sauce and then tarte citron. All washed down with a 1/3 bottle of claret.

we had beef stew
roasties
broccoli
carrots
sweetcorn

and it was lush [only cos i cooked it like.....3 1/2 hours that beef cooked for, meltinyermouth-tastic!] :sweeeet:

The last time we had it im sure we had Duck Meat (the duck meat balls you buy at the butchers) instead of faggots. Faggots were not particularly nice neither for the amount they cost sadx .
