Luton were pinned back at every opportunity and even when they did get forward Mr Collosus Sam Collins was there to scare them away.

Ratings:

Budz: 7 - did everything asked of him (not a lot) but kicking was good, one silly flap from a cross was the only negative

Sweeney 7 - Did very well seems as though he isnt a defender! backed off the winger too much for me though

Humphries 7.5 - looks so composed when playing with an experienced player, him and thompson linked up very well at times

Nelson 8 - back somewhere near him best, relished playing alongside a bully!

Collins 9.5 - Outstanding! won EVERY header & tackle, hope he plays like that every week!

Brown 8 - creative & full of running, his first touch is phenomenal at times, one of the best young talents outside of the premiership

Thompson 8 - very creative and showed his experience. Quality free-kick, well deserved goal.

Boland 7.5 - back to his best, breaking up play and passing it simple, much better Willie!

Liddle - 7 - a bit quiet at times, and excellent at times too, some lovely passes.

Barker 7.5 - same as last home game, has the brain but not the legs, won plenty of headers and worked his nuts off, deserved his 2 goals.

Porter 8 - a well deserved goal for Joelinho, vision of an eagle, he deserves to be in the team every single time we play.



Overall a perfect time to finally show our mettle and send a message to the other teams around us. thats now 2 wins from 3 and if we can carry on playing like this at home then we will have enough to see us stay up.
