Most of my mates are of in the same opinion as me as in they are hoping that the match will be called off so they don't have to go.

Hopefully Pools will get the three points that we desperately need tomorrow.

Wasn't the last home game a 4-3 win!?

Some of you sound like you long for the days of Bob Moncur. We are going to watch a better standard of football than we were 12 months ago. It's getting a bit tiresome all this negativity. Yes we have been crap lately, Wilson has made mistakes and the results have been poor.

But I will always look forward to a Pools home game on a Saturday.

im going to blunt here.

if porter and clark are injured and monkhouse is a fortnight away from full fitness i would be quite happy for the game to be called off tomorro.

the squad is paper thin right now and i would rather be playing luton with a close to full strength side given the games potential importance.

as for us being better than we were precisely 12 months ago, i am not so sure. i would be interested to know what team we turned out for the corresponding fixture this time last year first.

Porter is playing :sweeeet:

As is Collins who hopefully will make a difference. Mind I worry about Humphreys and Sweeney at full back especially against a wily campaigner like Darren Currie...

not sure he will play sweens at full back like. my understanding is that he played right back because he is a couple of inches taller than mcunnie and donny had some lanky gadgie on the left wing.

currie aint tall is he ?

for me its got to be something like :

a keeper

mcunnie nelse collins humps

brown sweeney liddle robson

porter barker.

and yes i know that goes against everything i have said about starting with barker up front but i cant see too many other options.

at least he will graft and it looks like thats going to be the order of the day for the rest of the season. sadx

The same team but Mackey instead of Barker.

I'll tell you what Chip during the first half on Tuesday many of us didn't realise Sweeney was intentionally playing right back. For a lot of the time it looked like he was dropping back to cover McCunnie who had made a foray ... and vice versa.
Whether that's right or wrong, one thing for sure was the right hand side was not our problem on Tuesday. Sweeney and McCunnie came out of the game with a lot less egg on their faces than the rest of the team. So can we fook this argument off please.
