But after going down to donny last night and seeing the team he sent out, i'm with everyone else.

But i do hope he turns it around and shuts us all up, then at least that means we'll have stayed up

Presuming we do sign a couple of players in the next twenty eight and a half hours I see no benefit in changing the manager. It didn't work last time, it's just the wrong time to change. Some of the decisions and performances of late have disillusioned me as much as everyone else but hopefully we can pike enough points in the remaining games to stay safe. Look at things in the summer now is not the time, if we don't bring anyone in (player wise) we are in grave danger of making the same mistakes as we did last time and drifting towards the Darlo division with a whimper. I think if we don't bring anyone in it's sure fire sign that the board have lost faith in the guy.

One point I'd like to make is that you might be Wilsons biggest fan or biggest detractor but at the end of the day we are all Hartlepool United fans. We'll be here longer than them all, lets not have a negative or nasty edge before or during the game on Saturday FFS we need to win! The players often say that the fans can play a part lets not give them an excuse.

February is a massive month for us in terms of the teams that we play. if we get beat on Saturday would you want Wilson to be in charge for the remaining six pointers against the likes of Cheltenham?

Part of me thinks if Wilson can just ride this huge storm then he may come good but then you think of some of the clowns he has signed and have doubts. Pools keep getting a victory at home when Danny appears to be on his last legs, I hope that this trend is continued on Saturday......

So we limp along to the summer... and then what? sctatchinghead
As for drifting towards the Darlo division, that'll do me nicely, as they look well on for promotion.
PLEEEEEEEEASE...spare me the old 'we all love the club' so we have to put up with it combination of emotional blackmail and cross your fingers routine...if you got a plumber in to sort out your central heating and he kept flooding the house, would you...

1. GET RID AND GET ANOTHER PLUMBER...

2. Think that he may just get the hang of this if we're lucky, so I'll keep hoping he does as if we get another plumber in he may flood the house too, so I'll stick with the useless one because I'm a f*****g clueless ditherer.

Scotty kept getting a victory to save his bacon, but it ran out in the end.

I wouldn't like to see Danny go in the same way that Scotty did. That Blackpool game was horrible, if Pools don't get a favourable result on Saturday then I hope the bloke resigns and leaves himself a bit of dignity. We seem to be picking up about 4 or 5 points a month at the moment. if that is all we get from february then we are right in the shite......

In this age of huge contracts and large pay-offs, when was the last time you saw a manager resign? It doesn't happen anymore.

I'm not knocking the manager for this. He'd be foolish to resign.

If he's going to go, he'll need to be pushed. Only time will tell if this happens.

My point exactly chip, we have a chance of staying up with Wilson in charge get rid of him (it's almost exactly the same point as the Chuckle dismissal by the way) and we are making exactly the same mistakes again.

The only plausible reason for getting rid would be if we had someone lined up. I've heard the Paul Simpson talk but it would be so unlike IOR.

If I could get a price from the bookie I'd risk a punt on Alan Shearer. No kidding - I really would.

Stick with Wilson.....? sctatchinghead ..I REALLY DO DESPAIR.
The mere fact that people are talking of sticking with him, underlines the fact that even they acknowledge he's not good enough.... so if that pathetic scenario unfolds and we avoid the trapdoor, what then? Do we hail him a genius for 'saving' us or do we then look for a new manager.........? F.F.S.... have the guts to do what has to be done and then we can all move on because this whole situation is affecting a lot more than just the team... it's starting to affect the whole structure.
