Season tickets are over priced at Pools, especially now they've removed the "early bird discount".

The savings that they offer compared to paying on the gate make it almost a waste of time buying one.

In fact Mr Dibbs, you're probably a lot nearer than you think to being "in credit" this season already cos the interest that your money will have earned by staying in your bank as opposed to cashing up in advance will probably be about £12-15 over a season.

PS. After what I've watched the last few months there is NO WAY that I'm getting a season ticket next season if the "discount" is as pokey as it was this season.

In my humble opinion you shouldn't have to pay more than £15 per game if you have a season ticket.

To be honest, £13 a match would be about right.

And if those prices were introduced with an "early bird" discount then would we have had just over 3,000 at the match last week?

they will increase the match day pric by a quid.

meaning 23 matches @£19.00 = £437.00

Season ticket prices will be held at £354.00

giving a saving of £83.00

But the problem is..........the price of £354.00 is still way too high.

shameless hussies you won't get away with it on the bizz tickets though

And of course the loss of dignity by smoking off a former very poor Premier League referee in front of two hundred people before the man of the match award is declared. And winning the tickets for the 'money shot....'

Of course radio porn is probably legal.....

Me also Ripper the number off cheap tickets getting sold outside the ground and the knocking back of the early bird prices is not worth it.

I bought a season ticket for £400 and have missed 5 home games banghead

I'm going to miss another as I'm in Barcelona for the Millwall game banghead

My own fault I suppose.

I think they should give special offers to people who have been season ticket holders for a certain amount of time. It would encourage people to renew them each season.

over the season i will have missed 3 home games negating the savings made by buying a season ticket also having won jeff winters tickets twice up to now this season and when one of my mates cant make it i get his season ticket so i would be well out of pocket by now

Or engage in unnatural acts with Mr Winter.

Ask Dibbs, he offers the former referee a horse to shoot his load into...

I'd never get a season ticket again, I didn't bother this season and I've saved a fortune in either freebies, cheap season tickets or tickets that I have won and its only January. The saving is that little that I just don't see the point; the club need to act on this.

That's the bottom line.

The "discount" is next to nowt for the assumption that you won't miss a game for work of family commitments throughout the season.

A little bigger discount PLUS free (or drastically reduced price) entry into cup games would be a good start.

Agreed, the saving would have to be near to 100 quid to give me enough incentive to pull out a few hundred quid.

Aye, at least the cost of 5no. home matches plus the reduced JPT, League Cup, FA Cup tickets and there would be an incentive.

If HUFC keep the pricing policy the same next season as it was this I reckon they'll sell their lowest number of season tickets for about 8 years this summer.

There used to be a 10% discount in the club shop for season ticket holders as well. I don't think I have bought anything from there since they dropped it. Although the better half might of done.

True, another benefit quietly removed with no recompense elsewhere.
