First half we weren't good and were very slow out of the starting blocks.

Even though we were shite I still don't think their goal should have stood as there was an obvious foul by the first player who headed the ball when he climbed all over one of ours. It was a bit of an iffy corner as well....

Northampton were as bad as us and that was our saving grace.

Ben Clark scored after a goal-mouth scramble.

1-1 was a fair result for half time.

1st Half Peformance: Pools 3/10, Northampton 3/10, in short both teams were very poor.

We were much better in the second half but still not 100% at our best.

Moore hit the cross-bar and was very unlucky not to score.

Could have had a pen for handball but I didn't get a good view of it???

I thought Moore had defintley scored and was shocked to see him put it wide from 5 yards out.

Northampton then copied us and missed a sitter.

We should have had a stonewall pen when Matty Robson was brought down.

Porter could have caused chaos and it's a shame he was brought on with so little left...I just didn't see the point. A few mins here and there won't do anyone good.

Second half peformance: Pools 6/10, Northampton 3/10.

In a nutshell, after a poor first half peformance, we played ok(ish) second half and could have/should have won the game.

Lots to improve but we keep showing flashes of our old self.

Pools Target should be: To play well for a whole 90 mins.
