Shrewsbury Town players Danny Hall, Michael Symes and Neil Ashton have left the club.

24-year-old striker Symes and defender Ashton, 22, will stay with the Cheshire club until the end of the season.

Symes, who scored 13 goals for the club in 2006-07, had a brief spell at Macclesfield early in his career.

ex-everton trainee, obviously available.

JUST WHERE IS DANNY LOOKING TO MISS THESE AND OTHERS ?

you're not one to start rumours but are there any other players who can't get a game for there own clubs that you'd like us to sign? shrewsbury, macclesfield how can we look beyond these clubs

i'm not starting any rumours whatsoever dawlish, but if elliott is available and he wants to stay in the north, then that is the calibre of players we should be looking at, if IOR have any ambitions for this season. players fall out of favour and fall out with managers. why shouldn't we look at players like symes ? - a young lad who i seem to remember scored against us last year to end our winning run. brooker is returning from injury and has always been a handful playing against us, and more significantly is now going to a club that could be scrapping against us to stay up come the end of the season.

where would you suggest we look, serie a ?

I'm surprised they are letting Symes go when we played them down on the Gay Meadow mud bath last season the local radio commentators were bashing one off the wrist over two players, Dave Edwards who went to Wolves today for a hefty fee from Luton and Symes who on that day scored a well taken goal.

Is it some sort of fall out maybe because he was very highly rated only 12 months ago

now i get you. shrewsbury cast-offs like david edwards who's just signed for a championship club for £675,000. it all makes perfect sense now stpid
