Needs dropping badly.

agree, he's too inconsistent. couldn't get there today, but my mate has text me saying carlisle were poor and we were in charge first 45. then defended like damned bounders in the second

there's something fundamentally wrong when a player like Nelson is making mistake after mistake after mistake - the same player who was immense for his first two seasons here.
The manager is weak IMO, and isn't hard enough on players not pulling their weight. I'm led to believe Sweeney hardly touched the ball today - that's the sort of thing that's causing the problems. If players aren't getting involved enough, or else the game's going past them because they can't cope, then they aren't good enough and we need to get some experienced bodies in to guide us out of this mess.
To be honest, I don't trust Wilson to do it, as I've said I believe he is a weak man when things aren't going well - he has a lot of proving me wrong to do before I'll retract that statement.
We are once again sleepwalking towards the bottom four, 7 out of 7 defeats away from home against competitive opposition (including Hereford, Gainsborough does NOT count as a competitive match). We won't win at Northampton, in fact we may even take the lead again, but we'll still get beat. Oh yes we f****g will, with this team and this manager.
The pressure to win home games is now going to be so great that they'll start to crack at home - sweeping changes are needed soon or else it's Barnet, Dagenham and Morecambe etc for next season in the League.

PS the answers are there in the short term if we can get our best players fit and play our best team - i.e. the one against Tranmere, but even if they are all fit then this manager won't select them anyway!!!

I think Wilson has to go to be honest. Im beginning to think he is completely clueless and he is doing nothing to make me think otherwise

First of all I've sad for ages that Sweeney isn't good enough. We don't have any sort of control in the game when he s on the pitch and games have been passing him by for a long time now. i hate the fact that I have been proved right. Bullock should of been given a chance in my opinion, although I don't think he is the answer his loan spells have gone fairly well haven't they?

The club are in a period of transistion. But it is frustrating and expensive to watch the transistion happen and more frustrating when the players and manager and chairman are trying to convince people that a play off push is the aim. i'm not in the Wilson Out camp but i wish the bloke would show at least a bit of passion. The defence is a joke and Wilson doesn't ever seem to justify his decision making. he also needs to think a little bit more quickly because his substatutions are becoming very predictable.

The transfer window should give us a clear indication of what Danny is made of....

Great post Parmo Wilson seems to lack ideas and i do not have faith in him to turn it around.

Is it me or is Nelson just an very average League 1 defender. He struggled at centre half the last season we were in league 1.

If drastic measures need to be taken in defence it would have to be a change in keeper, Clark paired with a new centre half, a new leftback and mcunnie back at right back.

Send Nolan back to blackburn and Antwi back to Liverpool.

Then we can start on the midfield........

3 seasons ago Nelson was probably 5th or 6th best centre back in league 1. Would say he is down to about 15th or 16th now. Not strong enough for me. Time he was sold and someone tougher brought in.

Blind Faith wasn't a terrible thing back in 1969.
