well why give the lad a contract then - or exercise the option to extend? Most people said that it was daft at the time to keep him on.

The most we would get is about 20k...? unless anyone would like to disagree.? A years wages at Pools for Bulluck is probably at least 60k - so that seems a bit daft.

Also this probably means that when Mccunnie is back he will be playing central midfield..... Or we are signing someone in that posistion....

FFS why didnt they just come to an arrangement to pay his contract up or pay half just to get shot, if he gets another contract at the end of the season then DW does need a full frontal lobotomy.

Why pay his contract up when somebody else can cover all (or the majority) of his wages?
