he is right, we only have ourselves to blame that we are in the bottom half. Conceeding goals in the last minutes against Walsall, Brighton, Leeds and playing dreadful against teams with only half a team like Bournmouth has held us back big style. Don't get me started on chucking away leads away from home either.

We will need something like 44 points minimum from the next 24 games to make the play offs so it is going to be a tall order.

Kevin - Sadly we won't be playing the likes of Accrington, Boston, macclesfield and Darlo in the next 24 games though......

i don't think we will be dragged into the relegation scrap. Our comedy defence is a concern but as long as Wilson protects the defence with mr Underrated otherwise known as Willie Boland and Gary Liddle we will pick up points. If Wilson hadn't fannied on putting Gibb at right back and tinkering with the midfield earlier in the season then the league table would make pleasenter viewing.

Agree Danny Boy did make some strange decisions early in the season.

We wont go down, too many points on board already for that to happen. We will get the odd home win to keep us hovering around 14th to 18th position.

Next season crowds will be down another 500, the cloth will be cut and relegation will follow.

Hartlepools claim to fame is still been in the football league when clubs of similar status have fallen out of the league or faded altogether, such as Barrow,Southport,Aldershot,Bradford PA etc.

We will never achieve anything other than the odd promotion from div2.

What, like the cloth was cut after Scotts dismal spell in charge

IOR have NEVER cut back when it comes to giving a manager the tools to do the job, some spent it wisely, others didn't....
