I'll give you my answer on 1st January. It's a LONG time since I indulged in UK style crimble festivities.

I hate the stress involved in the run up to Christmas.

Also it surprises me how many atheists celebrate christmas

I love Christmas.

A fortnight off work to get drunk.

Wasted on Friday, trolleyed again last night and off out again tonight in about an hour.

Run up to christmas is the best part - Christmas Eve with a crate of ale and appropriate music in front of the 'imagined log fire', lights, tree, food is just the best. I also like buying prezzies for Mrs Heat. Things tend to nose dive Christmas day/Boxing day (although this year obviously Boxing Day will be cracking) when my involvement with the relatives begins. I like peace and for some reason realatives never do - as nice as they are!

Jesus, fine man that he is, never speaks to me but he does call Mrs Heat to midnight mass each and every Christmas Eve. I would put my foot down for any other bloke.

I've always loved Christmas. I'm usually more excited than my kids. But this year it's slightly subdued, my best friends little girl passed away on the 9th of December aged 10. Has sort of put a dampner on things for us all sadx
